well, this seems the appropriate place, for a response:

nope, we can't eliminate the possibility of mulenapping......I sure hope not, that last rescue was taxing.........carrying him through that tall grass and all. Muly-back.......
There's been no ransom demand, and, not pleas for rescue, so, one can only guess, until proof positive of his whereabouts and condition are known.......

but, with your prescient suggestion, Fishy, I will put "the troops" on standbye alert.........

Hey check this out. I randomly write the letters L and R on the orange hoofprints on the floor... then I draw a few arrows, a few numbers. Holy quadriped! Da Mule was doing the Charleston as he ran through here!

DaMule must be prescient. Came running as soon as the call was put out this time.

Are we having drinks in the bar tonight? Seems appropriate. Pinegranny had the bar stocked this morning but I wasn't ready for it.

Now I think I'll have a glass of wine.

Did something kind of fun and reminiscent tonight - fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Fund at my local regiment.

They had a Great Spam Cook-Off and the Second War vets were the judges. You would not believe what you can do with a can of spam!!! It was a delightful evening with old regiment friends.

Oh and I won a real bottle of wine in the raffle.
Bottoms up, folks.

I'd guess DA Mule is reading threads and intellectual discussions he missed here, during his absence..........

I bet he went on one of those "sex" vacations in Thailand......you know how popular he is in Mexico in "those shows"............

well, up early to procrastinate. (how do I get my post times to be the actual time I am posting? It's 5:48 here now.) I can piss away a morning like nobody's business. I'm going to my first regional event this weekend. Soulfire, Southbay burners campout. Lot's of d.j.s listed. Wonder if there will be any quiet places. It's only about a half hour from where I live, one night, no need to pack for the grand bug out. oh bugs... guess I'll need to consider that nuisance. I'm taking some Raclette cheese, nice bread, and retractable (mutated radio antennas) cooking forks for burn barrel noshing. I found roast beef hash in a foil boler bag, will drop a couple of eggs on that for breakfast perhaps tomorrow morning. Is it truly convenience food if you normally can buy the item in a can and then they put it in foil type of boiler bag? I mean, a can is fairly convenient, seems like a bit of fine tuning. But it's all about fine tuning some times. I'll admit it packs easier.

Coffee is on. I also found a very dusty zip lock bag filled with assorted tea bags if anyone is interested.

for some reason I'm an hour off when I'm signed in, but it gets back to normal when I sign out. And I"m taking about two separate computers.

In the gas station bathroom, if I can get it to lock.
