I'll join you, littleflower. No fun drinking alone. I've got a lovely picture of you from your visit to the Home Brew camp. Haven't put it up anywhere yet because I wanted to show it to you first and get permission. Send me a private message with your email and maybe I can attach it.

Never got a picture of ygmir. Not sure where my camera was when I met him. I'm thinking it was a busy newspaper moment when he visited. It was a short, sweet visit too. When I tried to find ygmir's camp I got lost.

What shall we drink to?

How about reconnecting with old friends.

Last night I connected with a bunch of my old regiment friends. It was the fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Fund here. So there was a Great Spam Cook-off contest. It was a hoot. The judges were second war vets. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

And I have plans to meet them all again soon. Of course, we're going to be together next Tuesday for the 11th of November services but we've decided we need to get together socially more often. That's what I'm looking forward to.

Ygmir, you are always comparing your looks to Don Knotts and it's such a lie. You're much more striking in appearance. And of course much taller.

Yay, for old friends.

This is a very special group for me. I was a little frightened of returning to the armory but it was good. My old friends were a delight to see again. We have much catching up to do at our next visit.

Oh dear, you're right. I did put that up there. Usually I ask first. Sorry. But it is a flattering picture.

incapable, or, unwilling?

Yes, it was fun to visit Home Brew camp. That Goathead is such a sweetheart always pretending to be a gruff ol' billy goat! And that Pineapple Mead was delightful.

yes ... the goat is wonderful ... wonder where he is right now ...! if we could only have a bit o' pineapple mead with him right now ....

i've been adding pearls to my goat-horn headpiece ... not sure how to do it all so they'll stick when i put it on, but i'll post a pic when it's done.

Not sure if I can recall what the headpiece is made of but if its plastic you should be able to use a super glue to attach pearls.

Goathead said he had a few hours off today to go home. I can't recall if he's back on duty tonight or if its tomorrow. But he is on the night shift so he may be on duty momentarily.
