Girl Scout Sells Cookies Outside Marijuana Clinic

One incredibly smart San Francisco Girl Scout went selling where she was needed with her cookies: outside a medical marijuana dispensary. That’s right. Like 117 boxes of cookies.

Not the first time a tipped over trunk/root system has been mistaken. One caused a fuss when found through street view on a forest road.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world ... 18455.html

Many years ago, my Dad was in a lumber camp. Once a week, two guys had to walk out to get the mail at the store, taking a rifle and a box of rounds, with the "road" going through an old burnt out area. At the store, get the mail and two boxes of rounds: one for the walk back and the other for the next two guys a week later.

When Yves Perreault looks out over the pristine waters of Desolation Sound, where his family annually harvests half a million oysters, he fears for the future of the ocean - and the industry that supplies Canada with half its shellfish. Something is killing oysters and scallops in dramatic numbers, causing suppliers to warn of shortages and producers to worry about the future of their businesses. The cause is unknown, but ocean acidification is the main suspect. "Its a remote area, the water is clean ... we haven't had any environmental concerns, so I'm not sure what's going on,"

John Kerry Sits In Shadows Of Kiev Café Awaiting Woman Known Only As Dasha
Image
KIEV, UKRAINE—Following his overnight arrival in Ukraine amid the escalating regional tensions over the the Crimean peninsula, sources confirmed seeing U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry wearing a trench coat and cloaked in shadows at the back of a seedy, smoke-filled Kiev café Tuesday while reportedly awaiting a woman known to him only as Dasha. “All I know is that my contact goes by the name Dasha, and from the dossier I was given, she’s extremely beautiful, deadly, and not keen on making my life easy,” the United States’ top diplomat was reportedly overheard saying between drags of a pencil-thin cigarette held between his pursed lips. “The one thing I do know is there isn’t a chance in hell this secretary of state leaves Kiev without first making nice with Dasha. No, one way or another I need Dasha, and not just because she’s a mysteriously alluring beauty who’s been known to seduce her share of foreign ministers. I mustn’t underestimate her cunning and intelligence either—let’s just say this is a woman who knows a thing or two, particularly about the socioeconomic realities of eastern Europe and the political divisions among the ethnic populations in the region.” At press time, Kerry had reportedly detected the unmistakable scent of rosewood and nightshade, Dasha’s signature perfume.
