Olongopo City.....Bars from one end to the other.

Not my everyday stomping grounds, but I bet the district was similar to Yokosuka's Doibuta Street aka Honcho Dori, or "The Honch." As a female I was warned not to go out drinking on my own along that street, but well, I never listened.

The Philippines and Japan (pre-1985 before the sex laws got strict) sure were an interesting primer for, um, commercial romance and negotiable relationships.

I agree completely, but living in Yoko for so long I got to know people and places I'd never have encountered causually.

My mother told me that when my grandfather was in the Navy, he called the Philippines a den of iniquity where every sin imaginable was availble for money. That was sometime in the 1920's!!!

Holy smokes Espresso! That is quite the list! I think there is more bar names there then there are for Baby names

(boy names/girl names combined!) If we put all the names together to make one long Bar name, could you imagine how that would read if we got registered? It would take three pages of the Theme Camp listing, and that's before it got into the description of the camp!
