Okay, so I ended up having a space open up in my car, and found out that Chai Guy was still looking for a ride. He was figuring on having to hitch to I-5, and as it turns out he'll be directly on my route exactly when I'm planning on going down. He's hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, and I take the back route to BMan.

we’ve been having high 70s and 80s for the past few days, I think we’re suppose to get storms tonight but who knows. Kind of unusual to have as many warm days in a row so early.

what’s it like in Silver Falls?

Maybe it’s me but e-playa seems like it should have picked up by now, I wonder what if anything we could do to boost registration and participation. What got you to join into this as such a force Duck?

It was really sunny for a bit, 60's and 70's, then it decided to rain and cool down. So right now it's really windy, 50's, snow level's at 2,500 ft, raining off and on. Sun broke through this afternoon, so we have a real nice sunset going right now. Can't really see it from where I'm at, but I can see the colors on the clouds in the opposite direction.

True. I think having an actual camp on the playa will help. I'm sure a lot of people haven't even explored the eplaya link. Maybe after seeing real humans associated with eplaya, more people will check it out.

That or it will scare the rest off,... Both years I’ve gone I looked forward to the Meet & greet, it was great to finally, see the people I felt like I knew so well, It seems there is always somebody who is a really surprisingly unlike there posts, others are like old friends and there is even a more profound bond in person.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Bar on the Playa will change the meet & greet,... I can’t remember if Doc Pyro has offered his traditional invitation yet of maybe it will fall to some other camp, like one with a bar hmm.
I think having Barbie death camp wine bistro sponsor the gathering was a good thing it was for E-playa ,and 3-Playa members , 3 -playa was made up of people who became disillusioned with e-playa when it switched to this format in 03 I think. It tends to be a smaller community of people but more active though not necessarily focused on Burning Man .

That'd actually be really cool-to have the meet & greet at the Eplaya Bar. How had it previously been announced?
