I do love Sumos. I also adore Blood Oranges, Valencias, and Navels. I am just a huge fan of citrus.

TPBM prefers Cherry.

I dunno. Cherry's a bit fragile, and I'm kinda an elephant.
TPBM agrees that blueberries are quite special.

Reminds me of being on the Alaska tundra in August. We couldn't take a step without walking on blueberries and strawberries. Little sweet bundles of goodness!

Who, in their right mind, wouldn't? I freakin' love it, especially with a small dollop of good vanilla ice cream....
Man, I was hungry before I read your post. Now I'm ravenous.

TPBM wonders if ravens are really all that hungry.

It's not that they're hungry, it's that they'll eat anything they find

I swore off martini's when they became triple shots of gin in a big glass. For me a killer martini is 3 or 4 parts really good gin, 1 part vermouth (just swishing it in the glass & pouring it out is a reason to get fired as far as I'm concerned). Shake over ice & strain into a glass. Add a dash of olive water & one olive. Done.

tpbm thinks more alcohol should be paired with chocolate.

a nice single-malt scotch and a very small piece of dark chocolate are a wonderful pairing. red wine and chocolate too, but i had to give up red wine :(
i wonder whether tequila and chocolate would go together?
as for mixing withalcohol, i'm not such a fan of chocolate for that.

TPBM thinks I just haven't had a really good chocolate martini.

eric: you can mix me a real martini any time. it sounds like you know what you're doing.

Given I had to google it, I think it is safe to say I haven't. Google didn't know that much about it. maybe Google had one of them and can't remember what they are - those Hemorrhagic Brain Martini's are likely to fry your brain. Maybe I have had one and that is why I can't remember having one.

Nope. If I get back to the playa this year, I'm going to do a good old-fashioned monkey hut, like last time.

Yes, I do. It ended around the time I finished high school. I remember kind of idolizing Gorbachev as a peacemaker.

I wish.
I had a blanket that I took to BM, and it smelled dusty for years... I loved the smell of it. Didn't wash it, just kept it around to sniff.... But after 12 years, the smell has faded. Time to go back and re-dustify!
