I'm brewing some tea. Tired today. Almost too many parties at this time of year....

At least it snowed last night, although it's only a skiff. I'm starting to wonder if we're going to have a *gasp* green Christmas here- unheard of!

I like the talking heads song, too. Brewing some tea myself; still off hte coffee kick since detoxing during my sick-time last week.

Kids are fighting/playing through the house, playing dress up. Sky is heavy today! I wonder if it might snow!

Wouldn't that be odd, sparklevelvet, for me to have a white christmas and you a green one!

Christmas music from the classical station sounds nice. I have no motivation to do anything today, but I have to make it to hte post office (the book!). Will light a candle in solitude tonight to mark the solstice. Yay for the coming back of hte light!!!!!!!!!

When I FINALLY get off my ass and make my mix CD for the drive to the playa, it's opening with Road to Nowhere.

Of course, this is the third year in a row I've talked about making the damn mix. Anybody wanna take bets on whether or not I do it?

My daughter got me a set of Froud's Elves & Faeries tarot cards
for Christmas this year with one of his books too. Super cool !!

More chai please. Very tired today. Went to solstice party last night and made it until 2am, not too bad on no afternoon nap. I wish I could have stayed longer, the music and people were great. It was in an old church in the woods, so pretty, and it was snowing.

Happy holidays to all. Santa comes tonight for all the little children. Ya' know, I was looking at my daughter sleeping this morning. And the thought occurred to me that kids shouldn't be able to grow up as fast as they do. Before I left for work, I kissed her forehead, remembering all the past Christmas-es (sp?)...especially the one when she was 3 and the Christmas tree fell over on top of her. **giggles**
