I was just doing that exact thing! I am trying to keep the cost down but get something tasty. I am kind of in the mood for a burrito.

tpbm has tomorrow off of work.

Staying on top of policies and procedures and the ever-changing state and federal regulations make writing about 20% of what I do.

I hope not. My parents are closing in on 80, and I'd hate to lose either one.
(Besides, I inherited their brains, and really nice green eyes that people don't see because of the glasses, and the love of reading, and of knowledge... What more could I need?)

Crypto, I always manage to learn something new from your posts. I didn't know "cut the traces" before.
Yes, I am ready to do that. And I am going out dancing tomorrow night, for the first time in ages. I just wish it were warmer...

I cam THIS CLOSE to buying an iron-on applique tonight: ||

Then I remembered that I don't own an iron. And that the thing I was going to iron it on to would probably melt. And that the applique itself wasn't that great. Sigh... but my inner 10-year-old thinks the fusible patch technology is just so damn COOL...

TPBM is mending something.

Yes, I have a friend who has beaten thyroid cancer (after 2 surgeries and rounds of radiation) and another who has beaten a rare form of lymphoma. I hope you and your friend get those fences mended and then have a lot of years to enjoy them. (Not sure the metaphor extends that far, but I'm sure you'll catch my drift).

TPBM can't wait for a movie that's coming soon to a theatre near him/her!

I got someone on fb shocked when I said I don't do movies. I do 18 new (to me) cds to burn onto my ipod. It's all part of my crash course in becoming Russian in six months or less. I'd say something pithy in russian, but I'm still struggling with the alphabet.
TPBM knows that you can't become Russian in under nine months.

Without a grounding in the factual, I will have to say that I have a strong per-disposition to agreement. I think you can get some good basics though, enough to converse with someone who also knows some english? Certainly enough to impress and bullshit somebody who does not speak Russian.

Well, it's closer to BRC... and I do have a California-shaped hole in my heart... but I've always imagined Palm Springs being awfully touristy.

TPBM had trouble sleeping last night. But that late-night coffee tasted soooo good!
