Another year I'd be game for joiing the work crew for pre- and post- work.. but along with taking care of my virgin self this year and not over-doing it, I've got work booked right up to the Friday before the event, and will be running out of EI just as September gets started..

(If you're wondering, Employment Insurance is something we pay into all our employed lives, so that when we become unemployed due to something out of our control, say, harrassment at work, we can get financial support while looking for other employment or becoming self-employed)

So.. need to plan to rush back into the city so I can pay October's rent!

General travel question: if I wind up bussing or flying into Reno, and got myself to one of those water-buying places sometime on Monday, would I have a pretty good chance of finding a ride out to the Playa for me, my water, and my gear to get dropped at Bar Camp? Or should I really make firm plans with someone before I get out there?

X.
It'll be easier to make plans, when you know your's for certain, But I may be going out Monday as well. If it works out, I'll have room.

Thank you DD - I think I will. has anyone else tried the Captain Morgan's flavored rums? They have drink recipes on the sides of the bottles that are really, really good.

Quite a few things you can do with flavored liquors. Personally, I have a thing for vodka (Absolut), but I can also definitely work with the Captain.

I downloaded mine off a site and then resized it to 80 by 80 pixels and uploaded it here.
Other people reduced epics to 80x80 and uploaded.

Yea, find a pic you like, download it to your harddrive, and upload it on your profile. The pic has to be 80x80 pixels though, so you may need to resize it. If you can't get it, just PM me....
