<stumbles in the door, falls face down on the floor>

<mumbles> If anyone tries to do a body shot on me, I'll lay here and think about getting up and whacking them...

<moans a bit>

<mumbles again> but if anyone wanted to rub me for a while, and THEN do body shots on me, I'd prob propose marriage...

Hm.. from me, or in general? Funny you mention, because I just finished reading the Burning Man Tribe thread on true love on the playa...

Lessee.. I currently have one long-term crush (been about 4 years) on a man that I worked with until I quit my job in January... but I still hesitate to ask him out.. I have a newer crush on a woman that I am now somewhat working with (she's an artistic director type with the production company that I do a lot of hooping for)... but I also want to be single for BUrning Man, so I can choose my own limitations on what I do or do not experience there...

.. and I have a list of qualities I'd like a long-term partner to have, one of which is to give me backrubs (I give them out lots, as a good destressor for myself, but I like to receive too...)... another of which is to enjoy dancing, and do it fairly well or be willing to do lessons with me...

:)

The rub feels sooooooooo good... <sloooowly relax into becoming more of a puddle of goo, less of a stiff mass of over-hooped and -sunned Xta>

tactfully ignoring the phrases 'puddle of goo' and 'stiff mass'...

You got a lot going on X.
The sunshine does you right. Hoops too.

LOL.. shall I choose my words more carefully?

5.5 hours of hooping and facilitating a hoop workshop space, in the middle of a giant park, bright sun with no shade, warm warm day (thank goodness for the breeze, 'else my long starry pants would have been overwarm).. I was chugging from my Nalgene continuously, so didn't get mind-friend, but my body wanted to quit after the first couple hours.. and my patience got short fairly quick (which is sad, when I'm standing there realizing that I am being too short with the young child dying to tell me every little thing she has done to the hoop as it whirls on her arm..).. and being too tired and sore towards the end to accept requests to do a little performance...

Bleah. Wrote an email earlier tonight backing out of the other similar long shift I was suppsoed to do on Thursday... two hours good, three or more, bad.. Ah well.

Digging my new tan lines? <grump> I was doing so well at avoiding straps, and now they are crisped in.. ah well :)

Anything exciting going on in your world, BC?

(Hunter, you treat me like I'm fragile... heh, as sore and stiff as I am, "fragile" just ain't it...)

I'm not up for serving, but if someone is, I'd love an Oreo something....

X.
Ooh, hey.. do Oreos do well on the playa, or melt into a mess?

Hunter: I'm thinking of bringing milk in Tetra paks.. or finding some milk-substitute that I don't mind on my cereal, in tetra paks, and then saving some cooler space for a frozen gallon jug of milk :)

RD: I'm a NUT? That's a new one... every workplace I've ever had, they always called me Trouble, but not usually a nut :)

What kind of nut am I? <ponder>

Ya know I have had the luck to visit some of the oldest bars/saloons in the western U.S. but this place is right up their with the best.
How do you bring the smell of a bar onto the playa? you know that old whisky, stail beer smel that just makes you feel at home.
