Good morning AntiM! How are you feeling? I hope you slept well.
I'm gonna have home made pork n beans for breakfast.

Ingredients

2 cups white beans. Water to cover. One ham hock. Slow cook all night.
Go nuts w seasonings.
One cup Onions. chopped
One clove garlic, chopped
One cup tomato sauce & 1/4 cup Brown Sugar

Or tomato soup concentrate works just fine. It already has the sugar in it

Good morning, everybody... My brain already feels melty from the last few days of trying to figure out some fancy shmancy 3D rendering project. I feel like I'm getting closer though, each test is looking better than the last and hopefully soon it'll be time to crank up all the dials and let the machine really get to work so I can move on to the next thing. For some reason, the Ramones feels like just the thing...

It IS nice out... and I've got a bunch of errands to run (great excuse to be out and about)... but I've been behind the 8-ball on this goofy render all damned day. I thought I was closing in on the right settings while working at super low rez (when each test only takes 15 mins), but not quite getting there. Just as soon as I can dial it in, I can crank things up a few steps and get it started, then go outside in the sunshine....

Not really. It was so nice yesterday and today that by 9:00am both days I had my sleeves rolled up even though it was still in the mid to high 40s. I was installing guide post bases with a 12lb sledge hammer. Did that four days this week
Reached 70 today one degree shy of the record set last year

Gonna put in some OT tomorrow. Off Wednesday and I hope my trigger finger is working

Thanks for the suggestion, Tom, but no. You may not care about or enjoy making art and fuckitall may work for you, but I actually really love making art and working on design. It doesn't make a difference whether it's for the playa or not, making art is fun.

I'm trying a process for a counter top in a bathroom, which involves urethane and torn paper in lapping layers.....if it works for me, it does look pretty cool. and easy.
Got the granite counter started, too, in the new apt. kitchen.

Daughter hanging with me this weekend, got some chores done.
Completed my LED mod to a 320W chandelier fixture, now we are running about 35W.
It's brighter but the color is cooler.
Suckin down an Upslope IPA, there's more here for any takers.

Perhaps the War Rabbit can do a rain/snow dance.
Another record high for Reno. According to KOLO 8 news it got to 72 today. The previous record for February 14 was 69

set in 2014. The record low was -5
Now I am hoping for several inches of snow before the end of this month and more for March and April

10 degrees and blowing like crap here. Got home last night at 10:30 and the power was off. Thankfully, I have 2 dogs for alternate heat source. Power back on this AM. Toasty now. Making more laminates, got some nifty hologram stuff to dress 'em up a bit. Where IS that coffee, MDF?

Dives into the NEB for an (((MDF))) snuggle. Yesterday played tennis in shorts and short sleeve shirt. 70s and sunny. Then drove up to Napa for beautiful green rolling hills and beginnings of flowering trees and yellow mustard in the fields. More tennis this morning. Lucky to be here. But we do need more rain. If only we could move some of that Boston snow on to the Sierras.

Hope the nasty cold weather turns warm very soon
