Sure thing, Joel... Here's your two rolling rock, and your tab from yesterday's victory round.... boy, are you nice...
(Tab: $13,527.54)
You sure did buy one hell of a round of drinks. Why, the whole top shelf is completely empty! And the wine cellar's looking a big bedraggled, too. Gonna have to restock after that one...
Alpha, do you like your bloody's spicy??

Yeah, I'm drinking it. It's just not going down so easy.
Changing the subject slightly, you know how one of the key messages on the actual playa is not to mess with anyone else's experience? We'll on some threads here it often seems to be just the opposite. There are people active here who, whilst in BRC would never say harsh things to another, are wicked on the eplaya. Maybe it's because out there there is enough space to simply walk away? Nah. One can ignore the comment. Hmmm. Need to think more about this.
Regarding you, if I am gossiping about you, it's all good, sunshine.

Careful...it's my sensitive week, and you don't want to piss off the bartender. or on her for that matter.
who's hiding the Maker's Mark??
and who the hell is supposed to bringing in the next supply shipment? It's lookin grim in here!

I think it's the facelessness of it all, Bucket... there's a certain cushion, in both directions. On the one hand, it is a cushion for ME if I want to say something nasty to you, and on the other, it's a cushion for YOU if you want to ignore it.
I don't know. food for thought, for sure. At the same time, there's a level of "i can say what I really feel" here, perhaps for that same reason... the cushion. If you (general you, of course) don't like what I have to say, you can ignore me. While this place is hyper judgemental, it's also sort of distilled into who we really are...
at least, for me it is.
but that's not taking into account the socks. Or maybe it is, and they just represent different parts of the mes that are out there, trying to express themselves.
(except for Woodrow, of course)
blablablah...
give me a drink, bartendress... I'm babbling too much.

No, Sensei does NOT want to hack off the bartendress. Ok, let's try something different. Ya' know, I've never tried to hit on three (3) different women in one (1) post. Here goes...tisha2 wrote:Careful...it's my sensitive week, and you don't want to piss off the bartender...
Hey Tish, I was thinking how that little bar towel could be made into a spiffy little bikini for you. Mmmmm, Tish in a white terry cloth bikini...
Guin my dear, you're looking very chic and continental today. Mind if I sit reaaaal close to you and whisper in your ear?
Rian, oh-sweet-baby! Ya' know what would be good for your sore back? A nice long hot shower... with Sensei of course!
Whew! Oh, what the hell, let's go for four (4).
Oh Lydia my love, wherefore art thou? Thine lips are like rose petals...
Man, I got it goin' on...

nice observation...i bet yer right. and yes you may.buckethead alien wrote:In my opinion you can always tell socks when they stroll into the bar because they never drink anything.
I am done with my MM; may I have another?
i think i am just as aggressive on the real playa as i am on the eplaya...which is *not* exactly how openly, honestly aggresive i feel i am in my default world. i think that's part of the attraction (addiction) of the eplaya for me. i am allowed to say exactly what i think/feel and it's (usually) taken in exactly the spirit it was intended - like in BRC. People are more receptive to individual thoughts/feelings/needs and not so likely to assume it has anything to do with THEM and get defensive about it.
usually.
and sensei...if you can make it...i'll wear it. this little domestic goddess does NOT sew.

What Tisha said....
It is good to have a place where you can just cut loose and speak your mind... and this is it. Take it or leave it... or roll it up and smoke it or beat it with a baseball bat... it's all the same... And Tisha's Bar is the best... Thanks Tisha, consider yourself crushed...
Ahhh.... first beer of the day.... an Anchor Steam.... Is their Christmas Brew out yet?
