I am fully aware that I am allowed to speak freely and always have been.

I would argue that it is very rare for me to be "wound up." It's not really my style.

Tell you the honest truth, I think it's really funny how people get upset on these boards.

In fact I sit and crack my side laughing each and every time.

That's mainly what got me in trouble on this board last year. People would get upset with me and I crack up and make jokes because to me.....hey, it's a damn message board.

But that's just me.

(Especially when they are the types to get upset over me using smilies.) BWWWAAAA HA HA HA HA!

Yeah Cabana, that does seem like not to be your style. It's still funny though.

Comming into a community then saying and doing whatever without regard for others, and then laughing at them? Yes, anger and resentment are normal reactions.

You might find it funny, personally, I dont.

What makes me concerned is when people know this, yet continue the behavior and try to say 'its eveyone else but me.' After the past meltdowns on this board I dont think there is going to be much patience again.

I guess we are starting to see an example of what other newbies have experienced here already from some others that feel they have seniority on eplaya.

Yes I do find it hilarious because I find it hard to believe that people have nothing better to do with their time other then to huff and puff at their screen continuously about in most cases absolutely nothing.

Sorry if some of the OH's find it a problem that I am one that can do whatever I like in this world. I am around others that can do whatever they like in this world and like myself make many contributions to society using the talents they have.

It's unfortunate that some that like to disagree with me or are not as talented or at peace with themselves are a little bit slow to figure out what I'm about (though I feel it's rather simple.): however I do not find that with these eplayan newbies.

Maybe The question is "Do you need to be with a certain clique to be accepted in eplaya?"

I should hope not, but that's me.

See how much smarter these newbies are? They even know how to debate and argue in an intelligent manner. And even can agree to disagree intelligently and still get along.

There were the few that had issues with that.

Someone dared utter the "C" word. OHMYGAWD!

I love the newbie influx excluding the Russian spammers. The tracked vehicle thread has saved me hundreds of dollars in mistakes. And the Apokiliptika / Camp Herring war IMHO is one of the better things to hit this board in quite some time.

More people eqauls more exposure to different ways of doing things. Crosspollination of sorts, it's truly the thing that keeps me here. And what keeps me coming back to the event itself.

As of Thursday according to what I saw in one of the threads over on the DMS-3P, oops, I meant the 3Playa, it's holding at about 60 people. I lurk over there from time to time as there's some good people there. Of course there's a few bad apples in the bunch too but it's a community, that's part of it.

I've been watching how DM struggles with scaleability issues, something I ran into and am still dealing with on the private board I have. That and keeping tabs on archenemies is always a prudent thing to do.

As for the "mentally" barb, I might say socially but not mentally. That's a pretty talented group of artists, designers, teachers, attorneys, world class kick ass photographers, and the like. You can't group everyone over there into one stereotype or another.

Nah, I really dont think getting into too much detail about OH's is worth anyone’s time. Besides, I'm having too much fun as I'm sure everyone else on this board is right now.

Now on the other hand, If the OH's want to come over to eplaya and try to make a spectacle out of me or any of the newbies they are welcome to do so but I really dont think that's gonna go over well. Not only that, I can guarantee you I will make it the most funniest thing anyone will ever read on eplaya if any OH decides they think they are gonna make me feel miserable on this board.

It did'nt work last time and it wont work this time. I will make a joke out of it all as I always do.

It's starting to look like they've lost their influence...and this is at the slow time of the year too. Wait until tickets go on sale and the activity on here spikes up and it promises to get even more interesting. Also the Project Megapixel email got sent out tonight which will drive more traffic here...

If there was ever a time to push out some of the old and broken things and keep the board moving in the right direction it's now.

DVD,,,not to worry. There's nothing on this board worth getting all worked up about. Certainly not for me. We had a little bit of rancor about the British racing pigs and Tookie, but i'd say that this board is very civil.

The "Life is Annoying" board is the place to go for toast.
Isotopia and RG didn't get me going with their little digs. No worries here.

There's this thing now on eplaya that was specifically made and implemented for the OH's called "The Ignore Option" off to the left, happy smilie in the middle. It's simple enough even for them to use.

Cause I know no one is thinking of bullying me or any newbies to disclose their dissatisfaction of our opinions on eplaya.

That seemed to be the way of yester years past on eplaya.

You know....like some OH's did'nt like anyone using smilies so they gang up and bully about ones use of using smilies.

Totally silly but I would like to know we are on the same page with this.
