When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

I had a co-worker once who gave me that "the playa provides" line, and I was thoroughly repulsed. Then he started in on the, it was better in the early days when it was more about anarchy. Ugh!
Instant Asshole. Just add Anarchy.
He told me the only two times he went was on a spare of the moment whim, when a friend called. They loaded up "some water" and whatever they had in the cupboards and went.
Fucking Hippie.
Of course this was someone who considered their main life experience to be touring with the Grateful Dead. And to think I wasted 9 years in the Army when I could have achieved the same thing getting stoned and theorizing why everybody owes me something. Not.

There's a whole breed of sparkleponies who live by this creed, and, sadly, it works for them. They bring nothing to the event, and just leech off of any dumb guy they find that likes their boobies/bodies.Clar-i-ty wrote:"the playa provides"
