Since "Liberal" and "Conservative" almost certainly refer to actual parties, instead of generalized political approaches, and since some of what Winnie wanted to conserve was the expances of the Empire, this is best taken with a lot of powered croc-ade.

Hey, I hope you guys can help me out. I really want to go to Burning Man this year, but there's one hitch: I don't have a ride there or back, a ticket, any gear, a structure, any friends with which to camp (can't understand why) nor any job or funds with which to acquire the above.

But I've got The Burning Man Sprit, baby! So I was hoping some of you could hook me up with these things. Also, I'll need food and water for the week, someone to take care of me constantly, and a bunch of gifts to hand out to hot chicks. Oh, and it would be sooooo great if you could hook me up with some E.

Anybody got a miracle for a brother?

Don Muerto, dude, cut our boy Patience some SLACk OK? I think he's being serious here. Man, it's a rough crowd here sometimes....

Patience,

If the spirit is all you got then the spirit is all you need.

There are a few camps that are set up, willing and ready to help a brother outin your situation. Unfortunately the Solo Collective is no longer performing this seriously needed role. ZThere are a few others though that are taking the Burning Spirit to the nth degree in insuring (or trying to) that needs such as yours are met.

Probably the most popular one over the past few years has been First Camp and traditionally has been located on or very near the Esplanade. Give 'em a try. I think the contact person's name is Krimson.

Good luck dude!!!

aboslutely. they kinda play it low key, but there's a requirement that to get prime location you need provide prime interactivity. to keep the load down, they only help those that are really persistant. the best way to demonstrate this is to pop open one of the beers the keep in a cooler right outside the rv's that you'll get a room in if you've got enough of the burning man spirit.

Yeah, first camp is the bomb... ask for Will or Coyote, they'll be real helpful.

Truth, rather than dishonesty.
Goodness, rather than evil.
Beauty, not ugliness or vulgarity.
Unity, wholeness, and transcendence of opposites, not arbitrariness or forced choices.
Aliveness, not deadness or the mechanization of life.

Completion, rather than incompleteness.
Justice and order, not injustice and lawlessness.
Simplicity, not unnecessary complexity.
Richness, not environmental impoverishment.
Effortlessness, not strain.
Playfulness, not grim, humorless, drudgery.
Self-sufficiency, not dependency.

First Camp
First stop for all your Burning Man needs.

First Camp is probably where I would have directed Patience myself.

Thanks for the tips, guys. I posted a similar ad on Craig's List and got a bunch of hate mail, some seriously negative-energy stuff, man! A bunch of hateful jerks moaning about "responsiblity" and shit. Don't they understand what Burning Man is all about? It's about not having any responsibility at all! You can do anything you want!

Man, some people just don't get it.

Hey Patience,

If you can't find First Camp, try DeathGuild. They've got this big dance party called "Thunderdome" on the Esplanade - I think they call it that because they turn the bass up so high when they're dancing. Breathe the beat, bro!

Are we still talking about what to put on a t-shirt? I think I'd have trouble fitting that all on one shirt. It is a cool quote though.
