In case anyone wants my opinion re: page length, I don't think it matters, really.

and Heli, honey, I loves ya to death, but read what I posted about recreating vs. creating. I'd love to see this place learn from it's history, and to not recreate it.

Hi all! Yay, glad this thing is firing up again. Though I don't say much I browse a lot and really enjoy the eplaya community. I'll type more later, but for now thanks to you all, can hardly wait for all topics to open up. Was just doodling here at work...may have a new kinetic playa pedal thing being born, wanting to be built. Bye for now

Hidden, ignored or disallowed?

If you ignore someone, they will be shown as online, but you will not see their posts.

If you are hidden, you should not show up as being online, but listed calculated in the number of hidden users.

If you disallow contact, you will not be shown as online to the person you disallow.

well, I'm getting a member on my buddy list in Italics. Which makes me think they are hidden but online.

if you are hidden and showing up as online, that is a bug and will need to be fixed.

Hidden as in " 8 Registered, 5 Hidden and 9 Guests" I'm guessing that if you had a buddy that disallowed you the name wouldn't show up.

I go to the index page and do not see this person as on line, but *he* is noted as a buddy who is on line the next line down.

If it's resizeable it's not obviously so.

(I'm lame enough computer wise to believe that all sorts of things are possible in fact, but that I cant figure out how to work it.)

the Buddy contacts I'm getting that are in italics are the ones I cut and paste from the message I got saying that they had made me buddies and inserted into the contact management field to make them buddies. Not the same list as people who are logged in but hidden.
