What's this about the U-T?

I might be going early, too. I've got over two weeks of paid leave accrued, so I might as well use it.

Box Burner wrote:I do not know but probably not. This is the first year for me. everyone says that you have to go through the gate and be greeted the first time.
Last year was my first year and I was greeted kindly. The wind was up and when I got to the gate I had gifts for the greeters. Mesh laundry bags with various items inside, water bottle, wet wipes(which I think was they liked the best given the dust storm that had just rolled in) other stuff too that I can't remember. I didn't realize that there was an "Inner gate greeter" and wish I had brought gifts for them too. They just asked if I knew where to find my camp and was very impressed that I had my dust mask and gogggles on and seemed very prepared for a newbie.
Wish I was going back this year! I miss it and everyone!

Out to shop with the mother figure! Catch ya'll later.

Hi Mojo!

Speaking of prep...who is keeping inventory of who's bringing what? Especially the alcohol. I had noticed in one thread that someone could get liquor at cost but I am not sure if that is still the case.

Sput sent me a spreadsheet on what was needed...he said he sent it to a few others too...but I haven't heard of any real planning on this subject.

Are we going to have everyone bring a little of this or that or should we put a select few people in charge of liquor???
Tag, you're it! OR not, but someone has to coordinate this. And the rule seems to be that the first person to complain wins the honor.
Maybe we should take this to the back room. Start a new thread there? See who volenteers. I'm happy to pick up a few bottles of cheap stuff on my way up, but I"m not really a drinker, so I wouldn't know good stuff if it bit me.

Rule #19: Don't get so involved in Badger Turf Wars (Badger Dust Wars?) that you let the bar thread drop to #6.
