Happy Fourth, everyone! Might watch fireworks from a friend's rooftop, if the promised deluge holds off. Meanwhile . . . one megapixel finished, hemmed all around, reinforced corners, brass grommets. The others will go much faster. Back to the basement!

Hi, TITWI. I think he said 44" squares, which I assumed was unfinished. My fabric wasn't that wide but I was able to get a 1 meter finished square. He's going to use this year to experiment and decide on the best design for the "for real" project next year. I put in grommets thinking he could use twine or zip ties to connect it to whatever framing system he settles on.
BTW, since he's flying and I won't be going this year, may I mail the pixels to you to take to the playa? I'm making five and they'll fit in a shoebox. Thanx

...............This Just In.........
Hi all just thought I'd pop in and say Hi. hi....
Well it's been an awesome couple days day before yesterday Hunter S. and I were here prepping shit farting around... he dug a quick 2' deep fire pit rounded up some sage brush and whipped up two healthy Porterhouse cooked to perfection. Some of the greatest eating I've had in a long time, and the ice cold Newcastle, some asprugus spears and a side of ramen noodles. Let me tell you it don't get no better. Of course then the real work had to be done, the sightings on the guns we have on site had to be adjusted. Lots of shooting and beer drinking ensued.... Yesterday, a bunch of the guys started showing up Brian, Alesh, Pat, with Kurt and Frank coming out later this after noon. So after that great steak I was ready for another awesome BBQ dinner this time I hand picked a small-bone pork rack of ribs that was that was thrown onto a newly dug pit and cooked for over 1 hour or so I think and threw in some summer squash that he had trown on the fire wrapped in aluminum foil and also cooked over the fire (hunter s. cooks for the "Jello Shots" camp at Bman so the food was just so beyond amazing (as I sure those in the know will attest to). So Monday was declared Margarita Monday and much of the icy cold beverage was consumed upon the announcement. The ensuing relvery has not been matched since the early days of the burn. So drunk, without inhibitions, and plenty of ammo, we proceeded to do several hours of night shooting capped off by a grand display of fireworks out on the playa, which is about 3 miles away, but with a beautiful clear night with a wicked yellow half moon that lit the desert with it's soft eriee glow. And to think the holiday party is tonight. Can you say "Drive By Shooting Range"!!!!!
We are just getting up and stirring, the surround sound system with the big screen monitor has finaly been patch together and in fine working order in the front room of the second trailer and I can hear them blasting the soundtrack of the the movie "the Ring" that they are currently watching in the aircondition, and drinking starbucks coffee, with a fresh cut organic watermelon, cheese, and sliced cantelope breakfast tray. It's is just starting to warm up, it's probably already 85-90 degrees, and I'm ready to either go hiking, or play around of desert golf, havent decide yet, maybe after a bowl, and going outside and finish helping to install the new misting system I'll choose... Unbelieveably gorgeous day here in Red Rock City. Wish you were here... maybe next year or our next event....
Is it too early for a beer?
People who come here and hang out always make the same remark "Hey this is like Burningman everyday" with that big stupid grin on there face to which I always reply "Yes. Yes it is, isn't it."
