I definitely agree on people showing feelings of entitlement. I think what happens is that if you're on here a lot, you get used to your opinion being heard on every subject burningman. This can cause some to lose touch with the fact that we don't own or run this board, we simply inhabit it. Crustiness ensues. Hey, I'm a veteran burner-can I be the "One"? I'll decide all that is appropriate on and off-playa, would that make life better? I know it wouldn't for me, it sounds like a big pain in the ass.

It does sound like a pain in the ass, I think some of us that spends way to much time on the board get used to being ignored , or assume others know the context for witch we are coming, but of course infrequent and new users don’t have that context and probably take some of the things said to seriously . that’s not there fault ,.. but it does maybe point out attack might not be the best way to make friends and influence people .

Don't discredit yourself, Zule. You're a thinker like all of us, and your opinions are highly valued.

Okay, I'm just gonna set this up for anyone who needs it. Got some good strong French Roast, with hot water on the side for those who like weak black coffee. Got some 1/2 & 1/2 and some nonfat, here's even a little soymilk.

Good afternoon all you expectant Burners. Not much longer and we can all breath the fresh clean air of the morning playa[and choke on the afternoon air]
I'm looking for the Rebbi. I want to go see his encampment out at Red Rock. He invited me and I sent him a PM a week ago. I haven't received a reply and I'm not game to wander around the desert without some kind of directions.
Has anyone got any idea where he might be hanging out?
I figured I'd check out the bar.
Dan

Yeah, he was here this AM with tales of drunken mice.

How you doin, TITWI!! Looks like my plans have changed quite a bit, I'll now more than likely (unless something even crazier happens) be leaving from the Bay, and a week early. This'll mean that I won't be hauling a bunch of stuff from my little store (business is picking up) but instead will be shopping like the rest of y'all. I'm still gonna see if I can get some Caldera and will supply my share of Pabst, as well as anything else I've agreed to.

OOWOOOOHOOOOOO!!!! Playa here we come!!!

Hey, BoxB- if you want I could pick up a little envelope of playa dust to send as a teaser. I'll be out there in two weeks for the weekend.
