Nah, my kiddie-crush was the boy from "Escape to Witch Mountain"

tpbm still remembers their first kiddie-crush as well

Yeah, Bob from Sesame Street. See? SO CUTE!

Yeah, I was a nerdy kid.

TPBM crushes stuff for fun and profit.

Fishy: You can still get Smarties in Canada, and I'm pretty sure still in cardboard tubes -- no, boxes. Boxes are different than tubes. I know that. And no, if you meant tubes, I don't remember that. Sigh...

It's the long, dark winters. Our souls are crushed by them at an early age.

TPBM sold their soul for a packet of peanuts back in 1973, and has never once missed it.

In 1973 it would have been Smarties.
TPBM also remembers exotic childhood candies from a youth spent, in part, abroad.

never went abroad until I was an adult, but I was the weird child who LOVED boxed candies like Russel Stovers instead of the brightly colored kid stuff. Give me fancy chocolate any day. ;)

TPBM wants to go for a swim. (I know I do)

I'm not sure I've had them. Although, I did have "wild blueberries" on my oatmeal this morning, so maybe I have.
TPBM has had wild hickory nuts.

That could be taken many, many ways. I like to keep them as steel as possible these days.

TPBM was always slightly annoyed by Mr Rogers, regardless of the age at the time..

Most times. He's like our resident eccentric celebrity. I try to act cool when he's around but mostly end up tripping on my shoelaces or something.

TPBM recently tripped on something unusual.

About you playing with yourself in public? I'm used to that by now. But usually you use a sock, so I guess the lack of sock is surprising. Hmm.. mixture of surprise and not-surprise? That makes my answer to your question "yes."

TPBM is planning a surprise for someone.

I prefer Single Malt to both. As I get older I realize more & more that I'm just not a big beer fan.

I find the western male obsession of anything that vaguely looks like prostitution depressing.
TPBM knows that the geisha is more complicated than that in Japan at least.

Yes. Courtesans for hire and all that.

TPBM read Memoirs of a Geisha and found it disappointing.
