Yes; it's the stuff of gustatory nightmares.

TPBM has a clever response to telemarketers.

Not for telemarketers, but I like to tell proselytizers "No, thank you: I prefer my fairy tales to have stronger roles for women."

TPBM just realized, upon checking their profile, that the majority of their posts are to this thread.

I wasn't, but now I feel like I need a hat.

TPBM had an interesting dream to share with us.

Possibly, if their dream was a TV show..Had a dream I was stuck in a giant pinball machine, with the A-Team. And we were being chased by a 20 foot steel ball.

Yes. Well, (im)patiently. With all my fingers and toes crossed. Something very good is theoretically on its way to me, but I'm leery about counting chickens and all that...

TPBM thinks the chickens would be easier to count if they would just. stand. still.

Gonzo and I have just acquired x2 new chicklets. Two of them tried to make their escape thru the wire cage, and Little Gray Shit (cat) was hot on their egress (not a female eagle).
The offending chicks are now in hardware cloth gulag and doing fine after the trauma.

TPBM is getting really antsy about the 100 day countdown.

Okay, to catch that dropped stitch, I don't know anyone in the Olympics. I did want to protest the Olympic torch in Chico a few years back, but I didn't. Somehow it got dropped anyway.

Not only are the chinese crapping plastic, they've given it a scottish name.

BTW: everything in my life reflects excremental foresight. Gray Shit (her legal name is Sarah) is a mean little 10# fiery death predator from hell. Good kitty.

TPBL has a LOT to do in the next 100 days. Feeling the creeping panic well up from the knees and working its way up to the groin. The pancreas is even getting nervous.

knowmad, that is totally two black bears wearing red, pointy gnome hats giving each other a high-five.

Between now and TTITD, I have a presentation to an academic conference in Canada, 10 days of field work in Mexico, 2 weeks of field work in Utah/Montana, a one-week workshop, and some costumes to make. But I'm still excited for the countdown!

Probably, but I am amazed at how quickly and how wide spread the "zombie" interpretation was...
TPBM things of "bath salts" as something grandma used...

I first started seeing alarmist reports in the media about kids using "bath salts" to get high a few months ago, and I was super-confused. I did think they meant the stuff grandma uses (I think the reporter probably thought so, too). Today, I figured out randomly decided to assume that the bath is where it's typically made.

TPBM has tasted bathtub gin.

Actually I'm a damn good cook. Not a fancy chef or formally trained but I can look in the pantry and usually come up with something that will actually taste good.

Well...

I love food. Almost all food, in fact, with the exception of watermelon (ick). But I've got a relatively new (1 and a half years since I figured it out) food sensitivity. Specifically, I have to avoid things that are naturally high in histamine, unless I want to be itchy for a day or two, because my body has difficulty breaking it down. That means no red wine, no aged cheeses, no marmite/vegemite, and none of that nutritional yeast that's often used for cheese flavouring. It sucks, because red wine and aged cheeses are the things I used to live for, food-and-beverage-wise. (On the bright side, I've lost a a fair bit of weight since snacking on extra-old cheddar is no longer an option).

TPBM is a nose-picker.

Mmmm... like "Jingle Bells, Batman Smells," and "Here comes the bride, fair, fat, and wide"? I do kinda love them.

TPBM prefers adult variants of children's songs.
