Built a speaker box to hold 2 x 15 inch speakers...all of which had to fit in the trunk of a new Dodge Charger..Fits like a glove! Still think it's retarded..

TPBM likes ranch sauce instead of red sauce on their pizza.

summer camp, that's a whole lot different. wildness, they checked our hands at meals to make sure we had washed. that was it for supervision as I recall.

tpbm must fall asleep soon, or tomorrow will be difficult.

No, just got up. Although I'm substituted long afternoon naps in lieu of narcotic painkillers.

TPBM thinks naps are a guilty secret, but everyone knows they indulge in them.

I'm not so fond of pigeons. I kind of feel sorry for them, sometimes, but I'm not inclined to feed them. That just makes more pigeons.
And you know what they say: Mo' pigeons, mo' problems.

Nope. Just boring old SVO English. The language I research is VSO/VOS and ergative, which is pretty cool.

TPBM sometimes wishes English had a more robust Case system.

No. in addition to every thing else, I don't have the time.
Every thing else includes not being very good with rhymes.

TPBM is better at alliteration.

Alliteration is easier to do than rhyming, but possibly harder to do well. I stink at it.
Whenever anyone mentions alliteration, I think of Poe: the silken, sad, uncertain rustling of each purple curtain....

Yep! Plotting to figure out the best way to appease the ticket god/dess(es) and convince my boss to give me a few extra days of vacation so I can recover after the burn.
TPBM already has all their ticket, travel and vacation issues figured out.

I've got the ticket, and in general I know my vacation plans (my work is supportive--two co-workers will be on playa as well), and my travel plans are pretty simple. However, I don't know what I'm going for a tent...

TPBM has a wonderful suggestion for for me on that score...

You could do this one for under $500; you'd just need to enslave some serfs give work experience to some eager interns. The moat would probably have to be made of blue tarp. Maybe it could be your evap pond?
Image

It's the tent Tsar Nicholas met with Napoleon in, apparently.
In 1806, Napoleon and Tsar Alexander I met in delicate negotiations to decide, at least briefly, the fate of eastern Europe, Turkey, India, and Scandinavia. Protocol required that they convene in suitable spendor, but at the palace of neither.

The chosen halfway point was Tilsit, at the far western tip of Russia and the northeastern tip of Napoleonic Europe, where the Neman River separated their two armies. At mid-river, on a barge, a magnificent tent was erected, and there the first meeting took place.

In a surprisingly agreeable three hours, Napoleon concluded a series of understandings and remarked that if Alexander were a woman, he would take her as his mistress. When he decided instead to marry Alexander’s 15-year-old sister, the Franco-Russian treaty began to crumble, and the stage was set for 1812, Tchaikovsky, Tolstoy, and great numbers of lesser men settling the same issues from lesser tents.
Delusional? You're no more delusional than I am, Fishy. Which is to say, very.

TPBM thinks a moat around his/her tent would be pretty cool.
