Let's get back to the Goddess above the "Steampunk" coffee maker. More bettah than the saw, no?
YG, I'll have a bit of that Goddess and a cuppa Joe
We're supposed to get more liquid sunshine today, but hopefully some dry this weekend!

Ugly Dougly, you have no idea how right you are, but a guy can dream, can't he?
When I stop looking, I guess its time to stop breathing and everything else
So dream on old guy and enjoy what you can
Now, did someone offer me a drink? Your bar looks so inviting, YG, how about pouring me a sasparilla on the rocks.
Have a great weekend one and all.
Love visiting with you and all your wonderful energy. I really do feel it, and I love it. Keep it flowing
How many days till we get home????

I bought it. I have a few friends on the list to borrow, but if you'd like to wait a week or so I'd be happy to send it to you to check out.Victorian wrote:
Did you purchase, rent, or borrow this?
My local "Hastings" doesnt have any books or movies on the event, and I guess I'm just going to have to order....

I wouldn't mind to pay for the shipping if it's not too expensive, to ship here and ship back home safe and sound to you... if you are willing... I have all summer before my 2010 Virgin journey, patience is a virtue.zachass wrote:I bought it. YG-Thank you dear. I'll take an extra dirty vodka martini.. The more olive juice the better.
found this in the back of the bar.

rain here. Weell, the playa proof statement was a bit of a reach. little home made amp sealed in a tin or ammo can.I've seen some pictures of the larger chip amp with a piece of thick aluminum glued to the back of the chip. With this little chip, would I put something on top of it, or under the board? Any ideas? I've had a small amp in an altoids tin for the last three burns, inside a little lunch box. They stayed clean, no heat issues, and still work. Fantasy build is an altogether amp/subwoofer with dachshund head and feet, sitting in my basket. I got this around Christmas, same guts as the sonic impact t-amp. TA 2024 chip. the board is about 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" I'm totally fucking around with this and don't have an audiophile's head for specs on why I'm doing it. BOOM! we'll see.gyre wrote:How are you playa proofing it?
Are you heat sinking it?
Snow here now.

The company seems to be out of business so I can't ask them.
This appears to be a stick on type.
You have to use material that transmits heat.
The standard approach is to use silicone grease, but that may not be an option here.
You can pot the entire thing in a box, but make sure you have a heat sinking material.
And you won't be able to work on it after that.
This is mostly done to protect parts from shock or weather.
You might be able to adapt a used computer sink.
A couple of other information sources.

Given that today is yesterday's tomorrow, I can happily sing (if you can call it that) ... Oh the sun will come out tomorrow Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow etc etc
Hooray, a sunny beautiful morning here in Marin County and that means a bit of court time with my septugenarian buddies.
So good morning all, step right in and grab a cuppa joe. I'll leave the pot on for you. Have a wonderful weekend full of love and adventure and most of all peace
