About this banner... I hereby give you, Elorrum, permission to exceed the posted speed limit. If 'they' give you any argument about it, just tell 'em I said it was OK.ygmir wrote:*wanders in, makes tea*

Sold? I wish. But many hopefully will find new homes. Still enough left to put in storage in Reno. News of a friend in hospital in Sacramento, so going there first tomorrow. Gives me time to clean the car, buff up cloudy headlamps, make some privacy shades for the car, and get a haircut. Sacramento, Reno, then next stop Boise.FIGJAM wrote:Sold most of her worldly possessions and hittin the highway!!!

Congratulations for the European Space Agency are in order for landing a remote lander on Rosetta. I'd heard about it, but I'm sure I'll get to see some of the telemetry data. They're doing a robotic core, and I'm guessing that they'll do digital image maps of Raman spectroscopic results to determine mineralogy and overall lithologic composition. Complex stuff, but once you have the basics down, you can pretty much look at the digital images to determine rock textures, intergrain boundaries, and such to come up with what's needed.unjonharley wrote:Now that the 40.000mph rock has been captured...
