Word from Patsh is that Elorrum has arrived at Delle & Kenny's house.

And I just bought an airline ticket to Houston, for Turkey Day at Sunbeam's place. My brother will also be there, and we will drive back here together. (He's in Tennessee at the moment.)

I may -- might -- have a date for the Fleetwood Mac concert Monday. But she would have to take most of Monday off work, which is not so easy to do.

Earlier this evening, there was a fire truck convention in front of my house, when my neighbor's electric service drop cable shorted in two and fell to the ground in a nice shower of sparks. It had been rubbing on the chimney for 20 or 30 years. Hard to say whether the abrasion or the heat got it first, but the PG&E man who spliced it back together voted for the heat.

Yawn.

Good going Elorrum! Hugs to you and Kenny and Delle! And of course to you Patsh and Elliot. Enjoy your time with Sunbeam and give her a hug for me. We have about 16 of my wife's family here for T'giving. Great bunch and looking forward to it.

Good to see you in here GH. Hi YG. We had quite a fine deluge here today. The skies really opened up. Not like Buffalo thank heavens!

Our snow storm coming this weekend in currently rain over the PNW. Larry did not get a chance to rake all the leaves in the back yard; not good for the grass. I should see if I can run the mower over them. That mower hates me and I hate it back.

Nothing to see here. T-day will likely be at the neighbor's son's house. or over with the famdamily. Hoping Larry's student upgrades and gets his truck next week, so Larry can be home. Truckstop turkey days are dreary.

Isn't it, though? Problem is, while it was in the singles I got all comfy'n'shit with indoor projects and now that it's nice(r) outside my motivation for stuff 'out there' has had the battery pulled.

We are enjoying some downright balmy weather for a few days. Just in time for Nutcracker weekend.
Currently, there are over 1000 4th graders in the theatre, watching a scaled down version of the performance. Another school performance this afternoon. Every 4th grader within 150 miles gets bussed in each year for this. I think it's great that some of these kids that otherwise have very limited exposure to the arts get this opportunity. Nothing quite like the sound of 1000 excited kids voices waiting for the show to begin. Watching their faces as they enter the lobby is pretty cool too - it is an impressive building...like stepping back in time.

Glad to hear Elorrum made it to Quebec!

Hope everyone has a great week-end.

ruh roh Yggy.... yeah, the washing machines tend to be the natural enemy of a down pillow.....

Good Morning campers. Gotta fill my thermos and hit the road. The Fairies have a 'thing' tomorrow. Animal adoptions in the morning and there WAS going to be the Mandarin Orange festival but that's in the box now due to weather. I'm going to Auburn anyway. Fairies are good company.

Gelachians? That sounds like it came straight out of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Tell me, goathead, are you sure no Ferengi or Cardassians will show up?

Dropping in for a quick huzzah! to mark the weekend, the new site, the art theme, and to call out to Rhino that woohoo, Longmire got a reprieve from the axe of cancellation in the form of a pickup over at Netflix!

I second that notion!

Amusing thing about the theme is.... Just yesterday I was sketching a possible camp layout for our Theme Camp application, and the drawing was centered around a carnival style midway. And then today....

In other news.... I'm going to see Fleetwood Mac in concert Monday, and my old friend Lori, right here in town, is going with me -- freshly and fully recovered from a bout with cancer.

THANK YOU! That's the first I've heard of it. I was lamenting the series loss yet again yesterday.

Trilo, do you make a habit of making people's lives better? I respect you for it, bro.

Morning bar!

Went to the Morris last night for a "B is for bacon" pot luck last night. Lots of bacony goodness. Pineys bacon Mac and cheese was my favorite. She layered it like lasagna and decorated the top with bacon roses.
We also had great entertainment in the form of watching a local belly dance group practice

Going back tonight for a couple of hours to help with a fundraiser for clean drinking water in Paraguay.

Still lolligaggin about in bed. Mmmmmm need :coffee:
