Damn The Torpedoes!!! Set This Bitch On Fire!!!....

Post by Rabbi Dali Rick » Wed Nov 08, 2006 8:59 am

Hi all sorry I have not been drinking here with the crew but been working on a job in LA with limited net access and hardly anytime to with a crazy schedule I had with this 3 week shoot. It is over now and this is my last day of downloading the truck we used and then I'm out of here, and back to the desert till who knows when.... ahhhhhhhhh!!!! Stuart and Cal44 will tag along for a few days and help out with some of the tech shit that has snaffued. The internet is out for some reason but it didn't impact me But I really spent most of the time upgrading the golf course (I finally added holes) and made all new Hole flags.

I'll be back a little later or when we get the net back up out there...

i surf and grab pics from the web with an emphasis on being aesthetically pleasing to my point of view

using public net access doesn't allow me hard drive space to work with files from, and i've yet to groundscore a disk to use

besides that there's become an off and on issue with me displaying files from geocities space

attempting to live within my means, and taking into consideration your preference for smaller art installations on eplaya, i can't really promise that i'll remember your preference once inspiration hits

fair enough?

I'm really tempted by the Swarovski Chrystal Factory Gardins, because they seem like the weird underbelly of the german collective unconscious--and who can pass that up.
Oh, I appreciate the quality of their work, it's just this utterly strange garden at their factory. And they wont let you in to see teh glassworks. (I understand that they keep their trade secrets, they are an elite product.) For me there is this joy in the contrast. Super-uptight Germanics with a world class product? or wacky slavs creating landscapes that Grass, Kafka and Svankmejer would frolic in?

On comes the juke box....

Darkest of night
With the moon shinin' bright
There's a set goin' strong
Lotta things goin' on
The man of the hour
Has an air of great power
The dudes have envied him for so long

Oooh, Superfly
You're gonna make your fortune by and by
But if you lose, don't ask no questions why
The only game you know is "Do or Die"
Ah-ha-ha

Hard to understand
What a hell of a man
This cat of the slum
Had a mind, wasn't dumb
But a weakness was shown
'Cause his hustle was wrong
His mind was his own
But the man lived alone

Oooh, Superfly
You're gonna make your fortune by and by
But if you lose, don't ask no questions why
The only game you know is "Do or Die"
Ah-ha-ha

The game he plays he plays for keeps
Hustlin' cards on ghetto streets
Tryin' ta get over
(That's what he tryin' to do, y'all)
Takin' all that he can take
Gamblin' with the odds of fate
Tryin' ta get over
Tryin' ta get over
Tryin' ta get over
Tryin' ta get over
Woo, Superfly

The aim of his role
Was to move a lot of blow
Ask him his dream
What does it mean
He wouldn't know
"Can't be like the rest"
Is the most he'll confess
But the time's running out
And there's no happiness

Oooh, Superfly
You're gonna make your fortune by and by
But if you lose, don't ask no questions why
The only game you know is "Do or Die"
Ah-ha-ha

Superfly
Superfly

"Tryin' ta get over...

Hi Pinemom,

Sorry I did not see your post. It is rare when I hit the bar and find anyone here. Yesterday I was just looking to see if there were any movies playing before going out to see my kids. I am useing firefox so whenever I log on it opens Eplaya, Tribe, Terninal City and a google window. Usually look in Eplaya first but yersterday I was in a hurry.

On comes the juke box~~

Ow she's a Brick-house,
She's mighty mighty, just lettin' it all hang out
She's a brick-house, that lady's stacked, and that's a fact,
Ain't holdin' nothin' back, ow she's a brick-house,
Well we're together everybody knows,
This is how the story goes.

She knows she's got everything, that a woman needs, to get a man.
How can she lose, with such a youth,
Thirty six, twenty four, thirty six, what a winning hand!

She's a Brick-house, she's mighty mighty, just lettin' it all hang out.
Yea she's a brick-house, that lady's stacked,
And that's a fact,
Ain't holdin' nothin back, oh she's a brick-house,
Yeah she's the one, the only one,
Built like an Amazon.

The clothes she wears, her sexy ways,
Makes her, ole man wish, for younger days yeah yeah
She knows she's built, and knows how to please.
Sho' nuff can knock a strong man to his knees.

Cause she's a brick-house,
She's mighty mighty, just lettin' it all hang out.
Oh she's a brick-house,
That lady's stacked, and that's a fact,
Ain't holdin' nothin' back, yeah

Shake it down, shake it down now, shake it down shake it down now
Shake it down, shake it down now, shake it down shake it ooo ga ga
Shake it down, shake it down now, shake it down shake it down now
Shake it down, shake it down now, shake it down shake it shake it

Brick-House - Yeah, she's mighty mighty, just letting it all hang out
Ah what a brick-house, yeah she's the one, the only one, built like an Amazon.

Shake it down, shake it down now, shake it down shake it down now
Shake it down, shake it down now, shake it down shake it shake it
Shake it down, shake it down now, shake it down shake it down now
Shake it down, shake it down now, shake it down shake it shake it

BREAK

Oh what a Brick-house, she's mighty mighty, just lettin' it all hang out.
Yea she's a brick-house, that lady's stacked, that's the fact,
Ain't holdin' nothin' back, Owww she's a brick-house,
Yea she's the one, the only one, built like a Amazon

Somebody getting married?
That song is guaranteed to fill up the dance floor. In my non-humble opinion, the sooner a wedding DJ puts on that song, the cockier he is.

cellar door creaks open illuminating the bar with an eery black-lite glow.
...from down below the faint sound of an acoustic guitar can be heard...

I lit out from reno, I was trailed by twenty hounds
Didnt get to sleep last night till the morning came around.

Set out runnin but I take my time
A friend of the devil is a friend of mine
If I get home before daylight, I just might get some sleep tonight.

Ran into the devil, babe, he loaned me twenty bills
I spent the night in utah in a cave up in the hills.

Set out runnin but I take my time, a friend of the devil is a friend of mine,
If I get home before daylight, I just might get some sleep tonight.

I ran down to the levee but the devil caught me there
He took my twenty dollar bill and vanished in the air.

Set out runnin but I take my time
A friend of the devil is a friend of mine
If I get home before daylight, I just might get some sleep tonight.

Got two reasons why I cry away each lonely night,
The first ones named sweet anne marie, and shes my hearts delight.
The second one is prison, babe, the sheriffs on my trail,
And if he catches up with me, Ill spend my life in jail.

Got a wife in chino, babe, and one in cherokee
The first one says shes got my child, but it dont look like me.

Set out runnin but I take my time,
A friend of the devil is a friend of mine,
If I get home before daylight, I just might get some sleep tonight.
