Elliot, the ranch gate is always open if you want to swing in up here in Flagstaff!

Flagstaff is a nice town. I was there a few years ago for a national AIPG meeting, and the field trips were superb. The Museum of Northern Arizona I HIGHLY recommend. Take your pick - - world class dino remains, one of the best kachina collections I've ever seen, and a whole wing dedicated to the Navajo code talkers.

(not to mention the close proximity to some very awesome burners... )
Boy Howdy. She's got that right. I know one very awesome burner that lives in Jerome, for one.

Visited a wolf sanctuary today. My brother worked here 15 years ago. Petted a gigantic Arctic Wolf -- real pure wolf, rescued from some neglectful situation. Wild animals are not pet-material! (This one is acclimated to humans, of course.)
No time to visit any more of my friends, since this is Runar's trip with more animal stops planned.

I hope you got a photo next to the wolf! I'd love to see it, for scale.......

Morning Bar. :coffee: :coffee:

I'm getting my reindeer suit today! I will be wearing it in the Sparks christmas parade this Saturday. Must practice up on my dancing reindeer moves...ha! Glad it has a full head mask.

Mmmm what can I do with it after the parade?

Rake leaves out front while wearing it, tease the dog, find a fetish group? So many possibilities :coffee:

I suppose you could look into reindeer games, unless your suit has a red shiny nose. Not sure if those restrictions still apply.

Is it furry? (That's your fetish group.) Wear it at the burn on cold nights. Have fun in that.

Good morning da bar! Art immersion day 5 or 6? Dc is deep with it. Road calls me to continue tomorrow. My Dear Friend and family: so gracious, so generous. Laughs and interesting thoughts. This trip is growing back my disused mind. I loved my walk of 14th street history and stories with bin. I could see a different place, what an urban neighborhood was like. Much love to bin for that treasure. Much love to bin.

Happy to hear of rain in California. I hope it continues.

Mornin' campers!

Well, since Placer County didn't completely wash away, I can now plan on...running the California International Marathon this Sunday! Actually I'm going to run the first 40% of the race, since the start is near my home in Newcastle. Am going to enter the lottery to try and get a berth for the New York City Marathon. Since I've ran Boston three times, time for something different. So now's a good time to start getting into serious training shape. Any other of you knuckleheads going to be out for the run on Sunday?

Woohoo Doc, good luck with the race! My girlfriend is doing bay to breakers in May, and other than that the closest I come to a marathon is the SF marathon passes right outside our door..so we're up really early to the sound of the barriers going up and crowds gathering, then start drinking before dawn. :D

And hooray for meandering adventures and good times. Yep, we're getting a pretty decent dousing, the big story in the news was that the waterfalls in Yosemite were flowing again. It's been coming down in buckets at times (5 inches in a 24 hour period up on Russian river), and I heard tales of crazy traffic and flooded storm drains, but all in all it's much needed.

I ran the Denver Marathon back in '08. I might have logged a better time if I hadn't had to fight the urge to break off course to sucker punch every porch full of morons blasting "Eye Of The Tiger" from their stereos.

Yggy I think you should take the time to wander around getting rich. 8) Going to the doctor is no fun.

I am sad here now; Elorrum just left. :|   I had her for 11 days so I should not feel deprived, but, I do anyway.

Her next stop is Le Chat Noir and I am madly jealous.

Yg, I think this launch was from the Cape, sort of an unmanned shakedown cruise of what will be the new manned space capsule going forward. Apparently things went very well.

I was just informed my mother-in-law died last Fri.. 93 and sick for years..

She was not a nice person to anyone or her children.. Everyone stayed away from her.. I had seen her four times in 56 years.. There wasn't a service,, No one would come.. She blamed other people for her life.. Kind of sad that no one shed a tear..

Everyone should lean.. You put yourself in the position for life to happen.. watch where you step.."unJHB"
