Joel's not the only one who won't be going this year. I turned down a contract to hire position with the Federal Reserve so at the least I will be trying to find another job by then. On top of that it looks like my girlfriend will be getting a job in Minneapolis and where she goes, I'll go...and I'll finally get to do the relocation I've been fighting for years to pull off. It's not to the Bay Area but at least I won't be stuck in KC if we can get it done.

There's one bright spot to all this...if I skip this year I have a commitment that we'll be able to go all out for next year...providing all the drama and chaos for this year's corporate pavilion doesn't implode the event.

Anyway I haven't been keeping up on all the threads...isn't there a wedding I'll be missing? Pinemom & Titwi?
