Trilo, BVB, ygmir, nice to see you. It will be a special Saturday when we get a little bit of Bugs in here.

When I was pretty little, Friday night before we went to bed, we chose a cereal for our Dad to pour in bowls, to eat dry while watching cartoons the next morning and let our parents sleep.

I’m going to go see Crimson and Will’s exhibit today. I am curious, and would like to see it and reconsider how I feel about burner art or just art. I hope for some genuine amusement and interest.

Those also seem to work for me. Perhaps some kind of permissions bug.... are you only having trouble in the Open Discussion board or are they not working properly site-wide?

I've just spent the last couple hours digging into it and working on the back end to figure it out and get it fixed. The media tags should be working as expected now.

Good morning indeed! It's already been quite a long day here. Between bad actor individuals and state-sponsored nogoodnicks really stepping up their bullshit this weekend, it's been a little nutty. Apologies for the slow loads and timeouts and reboots that the site has been experiencing, I've raised the issue with the tech team, and hopefully they'll be able to both boost our bandwidth (since it's getting to be that time of year again) and get us some shelter against the organized baddies.

Other than that, it's a relatively nice day here locally. I've got a few chores things to do, plus I've got a bunch of camp-related stuff to get done. Whee!

Clamation was so quirky, but I loved it. Gumby, Davey and Golaith. I remember a cartoon or two, that were mariontettes, too? Fireball 500 or some such?
and don't get me started on the spectacle that was claymation is Sinbad and other movies!

Morning 2020 Bar Peeps! I'm back! Just want to post this publicly: This will be my last year for TTITD. Both Blowphish and I have had a good run (22 years now) but it's time to pass the torch. Hopefully BDC&WB will survive us, but if it doesn't, well it's been a helluva ride.

Man, that saddens me.

Does this mean that you are just turning over the controls or are you no longer Burning?

well we went from mid 80's to 27 degrees in 3 days.
Don't get me wrong, we need all the moisture we can get here,(northern CA, Sierras) but this is Texas type weather changes!

Thought about going to opening day for our minor league baseball team in town. Sit on the lawn, but it’s 37 degrees! Still early in the day. Looks very clear. Hmmm. Friday night they will have fireworks I can see from my bedroom window.

Flying Monkey, you may want to try and reach out to him directly, I'm not sure how often (if ever) Doc may be checking the boards a couple years after announcing a retirement. Personally, I hope it means handing the reigns to others so he can perhaps enjoy the place without all the responsibilities that comes with a camp and village.

Our temp dropped probably 15-20 degrees overnight, due to the high winds (they had a few gusts to 70mph, but mostly it was in the 40-60mph range). We're still a little above 50 at 8am, and we'll probably see the mid 60's today, so not too bad. 37 does seem a bit chilly for sitting on the lawn, but if you've got a little chair and maybe a blanket or something to bundle in... not so bad. Fireworks from the window sounds fun though.

I've got some new software builds to test out and bang on today, and then hopefully I'll also get a chance to get some camp planning done.
