You mean, can we delete the rest of the week and move direct to the weekend?
That'd be nice.
However:
Anyone see the movie "Click"?
Besides, today is hump day and tonight is D&D night!! (I get to whip out my new 4th level Druid - woohoo!) Oh, shit - my geek is showing...
Sorry...

Okay, so ten out of ten for style, but minus several million for good thinking, yeah?

What would be funny is to have them all be open and available to drink, though with some type of attachment so you can't walk off with any one bottle and filled with PBR so you can pick any beer and they all taste the same.
Now THAT would be funny, good-participation-aspect commentary on commercialization.
(Maybe I'll re-post this under Interactive Art Idea of the Day).
And yes, Corona is one of my favorites (with lime, always) as well as Scout's (though less-so for him).

BTW, for those who might not know, Corona is available in cans.
I think this is new as I would have bought them in the past
instead of the usual case or two of bottles I usually bring to BRC.
I haven't tasted em' yet but I will get some soon.
I hope the flavor doesn't suffer because of the can,
not like it would matter out there anyhoot.

Yuck....I don't do the lime anyhow.
Nor salt and lime with tequila...Yuck.(prefer Dr. Pepper or Coke for a chaser)
I do drink corona all the time though, the elimination of glass bottles
means I will prob drink a lot more of it on Playa.
Recycling the corona can with a lime in it could be problematic.

With that bottle capper there is no reason you could not fill it with a light home brew. Of course it would be more work with the 12 oz bottles. And then folks would wonder why their beer tastes better that usual.thisisthatwhichis wrote:Yea, now you're talkin.... and if they were re-filled with PBR, they'd be good and stale by the time you served them...... Perfect!!!!...
then they would tell their freinds about it and you would have to bottle even more of it.
Then they would find out that their favorite beer only tasted that good when they got it from the B(o)(o)by Bar.
Then somebody would write a letter to their favorite brewery asking why the beer they sent to the B(o)(o)by Bar where they could get it for free was better than when they paid for it at the store.
then there would be an investigation in which the brewery would find out that you were brewing a beer that was better than theirs, bottling it in their bottles and giving it away.
A law suit would be filed and you would be taken to court.
On second thought maybe you should just continue to put your home brew in 22 oz brown bottles.

(gives the jukebox a little kick)
Hey, whaddya say we watch a little TV?
I plopped down in my easy chair and turned on Channel 2
A bad gunslinger called Salty Sam was chasin' poor Sweet Sue
He trapped her in the old sawmill and said with an evil laugh,
"If you don't give me the deed to your ranch
I'll saw you right in half!"
And then he grabbed her (and then)
He tied her up (and then)
He turned on the bandsaw (and then, and then...!)
(chorus):
And then along came Jones
Tall thin Jones
Slow-walkin' Jones
Slow-talkin' Jones
Along came long, lean, lanky Jones
Commercial came on, so I got up to get myself a snack
You should've seen what was goin' on by the time that I got back
Down in the old abandoned mine, Sweet Sue was havin' fits
He said, "If you don't give me the deed to your ranch
I'm going to blow you all to bits!"
And then he grabbed her (and then)
He tied her up (and then)
He lit the fuse to the dynamite (and then, and then...!)
And then along came Jones
Tall thin Jones
Slow-walkin' Jones
Slow-talkin' Jones
Along came long, lean, lanky Jones
I got so bugged I turned it off and turned on another show
But there was the same old shoot-'em-up and the same old rodeo
Salty Sam was tryin' to stuff Sweet Sue in a burlap sack
He said, "If you don't give me the deed to your ranch
I'm gonna throw you on the railroad tracks!"
And then he grabbed her (and then)
He tied her up (and then)
He threw her on the railroad tracks (and then)
A train started comin' (and then, and then...!)
And then along came Jones
Tall thin Jones
Slow-walkin' Jones
Slow-talkin' Jones
Along came long, lean, lanky Jones
OK OK you are right. Music is much better.
(Nudges the automatic banjo box.) Do you two think you can get along tonight?
A cacophony of noise breaks out.
OK fellas, If you cannot get along I am going to turn the TV back on.
the noise breaks out again but quickly dies away.
... that's better. Now haw about a little night music?
(boxB drinks a couple of quick shots of vodka and then crawls under the NEB to the sound of of In-A-Gadda-da-Vida being played bluegrass style)

Hmm... Seems to be a delay. I'll have to adjust the timing on this thing.

Cues up ipod
Listens to "Morning Morgantown" by Joni Mitchell on repeat while watching the sun rise.
Tears run down my dusty cheek as I think of all the wonderful people I'm camping with and how much I feel loved.
I smile,
clamber down from my perch
and let my nose lead me to the smell of bacon cooking.
