Racism sucks, but I really hate the political correctness that surrounds the issue.
Somehow the term "colored" has become an offensive term... oh wait, what the hell did "NAACP" stand for again?
And what the fuck is with people who won't use any term except "African American"? Do they not realize there are white people in Africa? If a white person from Africa comes here, is he an African American? And what if they aren't in America? Personally I don't like the term European American. Generations of my family are from right here, we're Americans. Just like all the black people I've met.
Why can't they (the PC people) just say "black"? It's not derogatory, it's simply descriptive. I mean, it's universally OK to call European Americans "white".

No worries ***Burn*** I caught it when we decided it might rain in the middle of the night, we actually herded up all the tools from the entire back yard....and trust me that glue gun is the old faithful carpet seaming gun, takes one hell of a licking and keeps on ticking!
Lucky for us we did that too...yesturday the skies opened up and full on gushed!
The garden loved it! and luckily I put "Indy" under a tarp with the frog skin. all came out no worse for the storm!
Still have about 15 worts to go...going out there now!
Got new springs for the back legs...but still having issues with the way the elbow of the leg comes to rest on a bounce....????
Love the front legs...Titwi thinks they might be to slack...but I like em!
ya'll have a great day.....zooommmmmmmm!~

Ordinary??! Who you calling Ordinary? We're Extra-ordinary!!!
Went booze tasting last nite at Hangar 1 - what an experience. They have flavored vodkas that wipe the competition off the map. And these tea liquers that blew me away (even bought a couple).
And I thought they just did excellent Absinthe...
and great vodka...
And a decent single malt...
and... and... wheee!!!
OK... Rounds for the house. Makers Manhattans, absinthe instead of vermouth... Produce? Brandied Bing Cherry, bar onion, and a Jalepeño stuffed olive on a sharpened toothpick.
Like me... it's a little sweet, but not too much, tastes good going down, and might kick your butt anyway! --giggles--
(Hmmm... Was gonna call it a Blackrock, bit maybe should just call it a BB...)
--gasp--
Just bumped back to the original post #1... from 2004... talk about a trip to memory lane! Wow...... I am in awe, 2,666 pages later!

oh hell, just give me a fucking Pabst Schmear.....a shot of Ten-High whisky and a chilly pabst in a can chaser.....now THATS living..

I don't know BB. Last year was my 'year off' because I had been involved with big art projects every other year. I was hoping to do something this year, but then my life got all fucked up in March and it's just getting back to normal (but will likely take until the burn or shortly after to finish up). So, no art project means no motivation. It'll be good to see people again, but something is missing.
It's going to be alright.

there is always volunteering. and art need not be tangeable. Standing on a corner and simply offereing up a song or story is a fine art indeed. you could simply spend more time tending bar.

Ever thought about doing the picture from space again. Not for this year though. with enough lead time. amd by promoting it the year before I think it could be pulled off.

Ahhh, good morning... here. leaving a virtual kiss for Sputnik in a shotglass on the bar!!
Also got to experience some of Hangar 1's Qi Dark smoked black tea liquour, smoky and semi-sweet and strong enought o knock your sox off. This is NOT your daddy's Cognac - may send a bottle up with someone just to let people try this stuff...
What Iliked most was seeing the boobies of the bobiebar from space. And this year they'll be bigger. Implanted, as it were...
Still can't get over the new mirror on the barback... pale institutional greeno n the walls - looks like an absinthenal representation, or maybe my old old office from years ago... or maybe that elementary school...
Have an awesome day...
