Morning my lovelies,

The closer it gets to burntime, the less hours I sleep; being tormented by my relentless demons. Oh the fantasies they play in my head. My never ending list of things to do when I know I should be more disciplined and take care of my other issues.

List of things I need:
sleeping bag
tent
bike
ride out to dessert and exodus (currently on rideshare list)

I got the respirator(s), goggles, other camping gear. SOme chick I work with is gonna give me lessons in bracelet and anklet making.

Still trying to embrace the fact that this is my first solo voyage. My previous burns I have always had a van and a warm companion with me. This year it will be me alone in a tent with my stuffed animals. Oh the times they are a changin.

The bike I've been using here since I totalled my car is now broken. The front tire is all wobbly and is rubbin against the front brake. So I now gotta walk. I hate Florida heat.

Well, gonna fix myself a bloody, do some stretching, say hi to the sun and see what happens next.

I might submit, that, coming to Burning Man alone, is, like coming home from work alone......when you get there, you're family awaits...........and is happy to see you.

did the front axle come loose on your bike? or, did you hit something?
seems that'd be the only things that'd cause the wobble, etc...........perhaps someone can check that for you?

Hey Ygmir,

I think the problem with my bike was caused by the bike rack on the bus. I have to lift the bike onto this rack and I have to place the front tire in this place. Hard to describe. I often have to do this one handed since my wrist may be broken or have a fracture. Just makes to lifting hard and awkward. I do not about the mechanics of a bike. I am out in the middle of nowhere and there is no one here to look at my bike and my time is limited right now to take it somewhre. Damn, I hate putting the bike on those bus bike racks. I almost think I'm doing more damage to my wrist and my bike when I do this. And I still have yet to know what my test results are regarding my injuries.

Sorry if I sound like a crybaby.
I really want to get better before the trip. Gettin sick and tired of all these obstacles that keep coming at me.

I gotta lie down for a bit.

Good news and bad news....

Sammi got hired at a tattoo/piercing place in Willits and Ukiah.
We'll be moving up there in July. I'll be watching baby boy here
in Citrus Heights for the next month, and packing up things while
she's up there making money and looking for a place for us all to
live. Sammi wants baby boy RJ to grow up in the country.

Bad news is that I don't think I'll be making it to the burn this year.

I'm gonna miss you, Mozy.

I like the area up there. Hippie heaven. Looking forward to growing
a garden, raising some critters, and watching my grandson grow up
in the mountains, taking him fishing on the Russian and the Eel rivers.

I'm sad about this. I wanna go to the playa! Maybe things will change tho.

All is not lost. My desire is to be on playa. I need to be. I yearn to be.
I don't have a car license until October. I'm being punished for
indiscretions for being a bad girl last year in NC. Maybe I'll hook up
