Thanks, ((((Martiansky)))) !!

Reading back, I see a possible misapplication of my envy.... :?

What it is, is that Anyone who gets to go there (to Delle's) is so lucky!
It's an awesome place. And, I was just there in July, but I didn't want to leave.

I didn't forget to give anyone patches, because I didn't have them with me. I have them now. pm with address if interested.

Hey gang!

Great to see everyone's posts! I got home last Sunday night and the next day work was piled up on my desk where I left it, drumming its fingers and staring expectantly back at me. Been playing catchup ever since. Finally made substantial progress offloading the truck and cleaning this past weekend. I wasn't looking forward to it at first, because all of the things is a lot of things, but it seems every item now has a playa recollection associated with it.. which repeatedly brought smiles throughout the day. Beautiful weather here with meandering playa memories to keep me company throughout the process. I really enjoyed getting to meet so many of you, though often, far to briefly, but a great step forward to be sure!

*pours drinks all around*

Cheers!

Delle, that picture of Kenny and Scatter is downright Precious!!
No idea who the dark ones are, though. Good luck with that.

And, BvB! I was so glad to meet you, finally! Looking forward to more encounters with you...

Well dammit. There was a problem with the pictures and I had to remove them. .

...just from here. I still have them and will send them to you, Patsh, as well as to Scatter and Martiansky and Mohairs.

Once I get the problem fixed maybe I can repost them.

Sorry for the inconvenience...

And Thank You, FIGJAM for your lovely assistance!!!

Oh for sure yggy! I know you Vikings need to get your 'beauty sleep' haha, I just couldn't resist staying for a moment to visit with you. You're something of a rare bird on playa due to your working it so hard, so I was torn between scampering back down the ladder, or getting to spend a little more time with you! Thanks for feeling comfortable enough with me to let me know you needed to nod off for a bit.

You're right . . . he really did have about the craziest schedule of any Burner I know.

It was great meeting you Burner Von Braun.

I am incredibly stressed that you don't use your face in your avatar and that while I will remember your personality as always, my ADD just may forget your face within the space of a year.

Sorry to hear about picture probs - ePlaya has limits on file sizes and number of attachments in a given post. It'll resize where it can, but if something's just over all limits, it coughs and sputters and acts like a cantankerous jerk. You may want to check out the free bloggy site tumblr. They've recently been bought by yahoo so I imagine there'll be ads on tumblr pages at some point in the next few years, but currently it's not only free but hosts blogs, images, and whatnot for free, and you can copy/paste the URL into an ePlaya embed without much trouble.

It was great meeting and talking with you BvB. Hope you had a suitably awesome burn, and return back to defaultia.

Meanwhile, I managed to get through the remaining two bins of clothes I had to go through (I suspect there's more in the van), as well as do the necessary leather care on my playa boots and tophats. The hats look good as new, the boots would too except for the bits of paint and normal wear and tear. I was completely unable to get to any of the tool bins though, the kitten commanded more attention than I'd hoped she'd want, plus a non-playa project I'm involved with sparked back up and required several hours of work, testing, and followup. Drinks time though, kicking back and finally relaxing with the girl for a bit.... have a great night all
