Bless, this is the second time I've seen you post this idea. Try to get it out of your head. Nevada would lose too much money if it was cancelled. There are a lot of politicians and individuals pulling for it to happen. It will come off the same as always.

According to London's Telegraph, some schools in the U.K. are ditching analog clocks for digital ones because students are struggling to read them.

"The current generation aren’t as good at reading the traditional clock face as older generations," said Malcolm Trobe, deputy general secretary at the Association of School and College Leaders.

As anyone who's ever had to give directions in BRC knows, plenty of adults have trouble finding their way around the face of a clock also.

Shame. A clock face can be "read" at a glance. A digital clock has to be read and involves language processing, more time, more stress (if minimal).

Hmmm
Perhaps I can build an app for snowflakes at BRC. Shows the BRC layout "clock face" aligned to North. After two days within BRC, every hour give the random number generator a spin and re-align. With the motion sensors, if they do anything resembling the correct dance, or is tilted at The Man in homage four times, it realigns to North for the rest of that hour. Shaking it in frustration is not the correct dance. If they do The Man quad-tilt within a half hour of sunrise, or at the sunrise, aliment is good until Solar Noon, when it will require a refresh. Might be fun to add five seconds of correct alignment if it detects getting "hit".

I just found out that when Lenny Bruce was busted in a New York club for obscenity, George Carlin went up to a cop and said he was in the club and underage (15 at the time) so that he could ride and get locked up with Lenny.

There is a tape of Lenny on a drug ramble with some friends where he mentions the incident, but could'nt remember Georges name.
