I think acetone ( fingernail polish remover ) will cut thru cellophane or thin plastic.

sorry guys, didnt mean to leave the light on in here, I had a new to us boobarian here at the house, and was showing him around Eplaya, was showing how long it takes to post in here and why everyone went to the new bar.
JUST because of technical difficulties.
But no one believes me anyway...so wtf.

BTW, Hi old bar! I do miss ya...to bad someone couldnt make an archive of the old postings, so they still could be accessed, but then this bar could be brought back to only a couple of pages, so we could post in here again.........

I don't think it's the slow posting, it's the slow loading........
when folks with dial up click on the thread initially, it takes a long time to even come up...........

that's my understanding, anyway.

I miss the old bar too. I click on it when it comes to the top. But it's a royal pain.

yup, it is technical issues. Just timed it and it takes 2 minutes and 42 seconds to load this page on a dial up. I live in a small rural city that is unlikely to have high-speed unless you go to a cable modem. Since I don't watch television I don't intend to give Mr. Ted Rogers any of my meagre resources. You know, some of us burners have to save our precious pennies so that we can go to the playa in a self-reliant way.

Now I'm off to make a pot of coffee while my answer loads. See you in that other spot.

For me this bar is as fast as the other, so it makes no diff to me, just depends on where you all are.

yeah, that's my take, too, Sputnik.
It takes close to a minute, it seems to load.
But, I don't even mind both.......it's all ok for me.
It seems most have gone to bar2, so as to accommodate those with slower connections.

I do miss the ROS.............
