Thanks Artemis! I actually didn't talk to her though, at least not at first. She had to push me against a wall and kiss me first and then we talked. I had no idea she felt the same way. I am deliriously happy and optimistic, I have an important interview with Deft Magazine on Monday, and a couple of other promising leads on jobs! Life is good!

I put my dead parakeet in the freezer, wrapped in a paper towel.
in about 6 months they mummify and can be set on a shelf, perfectly preserved........you can pose it before freeze drying too.
I've done it to several birds I've found outside a plate glass window....works good.

Fuckin sad, to lose a pet...........fuckin nice sitting on the shelf, though........
