I'd recommend Klosterman's latest, I Wear the Black Hat: Grappling with Villains (Real and Imagined) .It's really thought provoking, I stop to ponder on almost every page.

TPBM has known a real life villain and lived to tell about it.

why yes I do (sort of). I've got a big book containing legislation on my desk and it is rather dull. But then I have to type some analysis about said legislation, so maybe I am a computer jockey.
