my longest drive, in one shot (with 1 or 2 hour naps) was here to the Arctic circle, in the Canadian Yukon, via the Dempster highway from Dawson City.
Took me 3 days to get there.

I'd love to, but, making a straight shot to Yakima, then west, will take a long time.....not sure I could detour that far and still make my schedule.
84 is beautiful, though, through the gorge.

Thanks Sput.

Have a good trip ygmir. We'll be following you in two weeks. We're taking three days from Sparks to Bellevue, WA geocaching along the way. We'll spend four days in the Bellevue area and then catch a cruise to Alaska for seven days and on the return take another three days coming back home. Hope to have drinks with winebuff and hubby on the 1st.

Morning Yggy, here is coffee for your travel and snack, have a good trip :)

Marty, the horse sure is impressive. Was made by one man as statue and now is placed next to the river in Prague, the part is called Troja. You can sit outside, but there is small room inside his body (for about 25 people and piano) as you can see on the picture...he built small bar there and organizes open air film screenings and concerts...very nice place...

Hi Sput,

Misa, thanks for the information about the horse. I love buildings that are quirky, imaginative and really pieces of art. Never been to Prague but from what I hear, it is one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in Europe.. Oh well, one day

For now, a cup of coffee and a bit of time in the NEB. See you there, Misa. Maybe we'll get Little Flower and Sput to join us, since YGMIR is on the road traveling today.

Have a a good day all

Cheers

MM, the architecture here is amazing...you should come ;)

You might like this one...Image
It is old monastery, which was burned out (the roof collapsed) and they reconstruct it in deep communism..architect decided to make this unusual roof (at that time), but he had to proof why to communist bureaucrats...so he made up the story that this two peaks (can I say that about the shape?) are actually the symbol of two Russian spacecrafts heading toward the Moon and space, as the sign of how developed Soviet Union is...and they ate it... :D

ho ho ho, next to the clowns (you know it is different with you Swampdog ;) ) Santa is the next scary thing ... no offence to you S, nice to meet you, just saying :D
