The week after I get back from Burningman, Blackberry Smoke will be at the Roots, Blues, and BBQ festival being held in Columbia, Missouri. I plan to attend. They play great blues, of the rockin' kind. Here, they appear with a special guest.....Billy Gibbons of ZZTop. This is sit down and relax/sip tequila/ponder life's meaning and blessings music. The good stuff.

Once again...
I have owned this since I came out, and I've loved it all that time. Tonight was the first time I sat and listened to how the instrumentation builds, starting from piano and voice and ending with multiple instruments and chorus.
It's all about change and loss, making it a song about the event...
