Nothing is permanent. Everything, everyone, every experience is on loan.

Burningman, as we once knew it, is done. Greed, scale, and the pandemic all colluded together to make sure of it.

The folks who ran it couldn’t see they were headed for catastrophe. Investment in an area and with people who really don’t like us wasnt brilliant. Maintaining a ridiculously expensive footprint wasn’t exactly the smartest move. Another office in Reno? Sure, why the fuck not. Hey, how about one in Gerlach too? Can’t have too much office space, right? Hell because 80 acres of DPW ranch isn’t enough. Oh, let’s buy Fly Ranch too.

What happened to the BMOrg wasn’t an accident.
