I've heard of several different platforms that are being used by folks to create virtual BRC.
We're setting up our project as a standalone thing that will run 24/7 during Event week; we hope to have portals in other worlds of the Multiverse.

There's Several gamer platforms in play, I think Minecraft might be one? (I'm not a gamer, so ...) Folks are working on stuff in Second Life, and there is also a Discord thing happening.
