Relax it’s called sarcasm.
You ever find yourself in the desert like you hope to do. This is just the kind of person that you would need if your bike was broken. He’s that naked guy over there. Built some pretty cool kinetic stuff also. Go say hello.
From experience slow down my friend you’re heading for a burn out before We get there.
Coincidence, traced far enough back becomes and inevitable.
Re: Is it over?
Same thing applies to gray coyote. Not naked of course.

Re: Is it over?
I guess not having Facebook keeps me in the dark about a lot of WW3 going on.
But it seems to me there are so many other things to be worried about and upset about than a camping trip to the desert. Seems like wasted hate to me.

You are right, but it seemed to have specific aim. I too work on bicycles, and am experimenting with electricity.

Elliot Is a master of bicycles some of his kinetic stuff is amazing. Just tell him to put a towel down when he sits on your furniture.
Grey coyotes mother dresses him funny and he has big ears. But anyone would be honored to get to hang out with him in the desert. I know I would.
Slow down you’ll get there.

Had nothing to do with Elliot. My beef was with Grey Coyote. As far as "Not having a clue?" You might adhere to your own advice. I was over it yesterday.

Re: Is it over?
Asshole, eh? You’ve got no clue. As in absolutely none, Little Wannabe Burner.
FWIW, Unjon is a dear friend. This whole schtick is a long-standing, running joke. Its a ritual. Its part of “snark”.
I dont owe you an explanation, but since you stepped in it so deeply and gloriously, here ya go;
Unjon is loosely affiliated with our camp. Yeah. Read that again. He comes and goes like a friendly cat. He is fiercely independent, but we drag his ass in at mealtimes. It isnt easy burning at his age, but he does it. Sometimes we haul stuff for him. Othertimes we make damn sure he’s got a ticket. Its a collective effort, because he’s dear to us.
He saved our collective asses one year. That year he was sporting dual canes and was pretty hobbled-up, so he spent a bit more time in camp than usual. Good thing, too because it rained. When I got back to camp I fully expected to see a flattened shade structure from the weight of the ponded water. Instead, I found Unjon methodically using his canes to push the water up and off the tarp. His greeting? “Well, fuck it anyway, Grey!!. I was hoping you were dead so I could steal your shade. No hurry. I’ll wait” And then he dumped 5 gals off the tarp and down my backside. Lol
I’ll let Unjon chime-in here and back me up on this. Or you could Google and see for yourself.
As far as Elliot goes, you might want to rethink his relationship with me too. Elliot is another dear friend, and also keeps Unjon on his mind. Elliot welcomed me (and a BUNCH of other first years) into his camp years ago. (I blame him for infecting me with “bus bug” btw). Elliot is quite beloved. Every year that our camps go, we are located “back to back” or as close as placement will allow.
So. After that history lesson, who is the asshole now, Miura-7?
Snark. And Humor. Maybe you’ll learn about them someday if you ever manage to get some dust on you.

Re: Is it over?
Miura-7, if you don’t recognize the three people in Agaton’s photo he just posted, you really don’t have a clue in this particular non-issue. It’s actually surprising I’m not in that one myself.
Unjon and I have had the running “you’re ugly” gag going since before you heard of Burning Man.

Capt: That photo was cropped, precisely because you *WERE* in it! Lol.
(Dear Little Burner: this was yet another demonstration of that thing called “snark” between friends. But feel free to enlighten us further on how BM *should* be and how we *should* behave while in your presence. We’ll be sure to have things properly modified to your liking before 2021.)

OK I Got It!!! Thanks for the info. PS. I'm on the same mission. Still trying to decide if I want to take the same path. Trust me when I tell you I've climbed out of the shit plenty of times, and have helped others do the same. I'm certainly not telling you how Burning Man should be. So I don't know where that bullshit came from, but sometimes I think some of you should get the fuck over yourselves.

See there? Except for that final “pop” (when you finally pulled your head out of your ass), that was a pretty painless “Burningman Growing Experience” {tm}, yes?Miura-7 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 1:33 pmOK I Got It!!! And yeah, we are ALL pretty full of ourselves. So you’re in good company there. Except of course for Unjon. He’s like... full of beans or something...

I wouldn’t worry about. Like I said you’ll get there.
If you ever want to pull a joke on the captain.
Tell him the man burned early........... ............<<dramatic pause.
Shit oh wait!!! Don’t do that. Everybody at burning man says that.
It only works if you really burn the man early.
Man it really didn’t work out for the guy that helped me out with that joke.
**Makes eye contact with the reader.**
To soon?
Watch Captains reaction. at the time it was a silent gasp.
Priceless

Re: Is it over?
Didn't you hear, they cancelled it this year!
FUCK YOU, I'M A WIZARD. FUCK YOU, I'M A SHARK.
Re: Is it over?
No.
Goddammit.
Captain sold me his extra ticket. He said it was VIP camping. That’s why it cost more.
No problem he says.
It’s just Plug and pay he says.
Don’t need to bring anything he says.
What will I ever do.
If it’s canceled no one will ever go back to the desert again.
It’s just way to hard. No one could survive out there. I guess it’s over.
Anybody want to buy a ticket?
