Stored camp and playa gear

Post by Sham » Mon Jul 20, 2020 12:35 am

There are hundreds of storage units all over northern Nevada, filled to the top with camp gear and infrastructure. These units are paid for with camp dues--that are not happening this year. Depending on virus containment, what will be happening to all this equipment stored away? There were entire storage units built strictly for burners. What happens to those places.

I have a trailer stored off-site near Gerlach with a lot of personal things. Nothing really worth retrieving from across the country. Does this trailer just get left behind? So many people in the same position.

What are we to do?

I figure they get a "stay at home" order for an extra year, though getting anything out of them in the mean time might not be possible.
