And I still poke my head back in here once in a while.
And... I am almost ready to decide... to return to BRC next year, Covid permitting. [Eagerly awaiting my booster shot soon.]

Elliot, it will be great to see you in 2022. Don't you have to be at least 65 to get that booster shot. I think you've got several years to go. I haven't seen Mary's face in person for way too long. I need to see it.

But I am safely past 65. (And feeling it in my creaky "moving parts", which now often resist moving much.)

Well, if Mary's camp lead has anything to do with it, you will see her on Playa in 2022.

No you don’t have to be 65 to get the booster. There’s other criteria that can deem you eligible as well. I’m not 65 but got my booster this past Wednesday. Some states may differ a bit

This is true. In my state, the booster can be based on age, health, and whether one works in health care or similar. So it's worth checking what a person's locale will allow. I've also read that certain varieties have boosters, but have not seen yet if all of them do. Ideally, you're supposed to get the booster that matches your original med.

I look forward to getting a booster, if or when I can. And I'm getting my flu shot this Thursday. I have always been good about my flu shot, but even more so after that year when Swine Flu hit. (2009?)

Swine Flu kicked my ass. I was so sick that when I ran out of ibuprofen, I couldn't bear to get dressed & take the bus 3 blocks to get more.

I just hunkered down and suffered. It was terrible. My closest friends were out of town at a convention, so I couldn't ask them to help.

Unusual for me to be close to running out of anything, especially first aid.

Oh, definitely annual flu shot.
I had full-blown influenza around 25 years ago, and truly wasn't sure I would live, and I have never missed my flu shot since.
Six more days to this year's.

I too, get ALL of mine.

I work with DOCS, for Christ's sake. They all get these innoculations, as quickly as they can. I have watched them do so. Please. Just get the shot. Please. I have worked with these people for so long. They are NOT kidding around.
