These are the coolest, when we get to meet so many characters otherwise only seen online.
Does anyone know anything about one that may be planned?

Hi Patch, last year we had a get together at Elderberry's camp. It was a fun crowd, but not the pre-pandemic throngs of yesteryear. Let's see if a camp steps up to host.

I would say I arrived late within an hour to the 2023 Camp Threat ePlaya meet'n'greet and found it ended, no ePlayans, a bunch of Threat campers lazing about, claiming no idea about the MnG, pointing me to a buffet of junk food left over which would be their garbage responsibility.

You as camper participate in ePlaya. What does it take to make Threat an ePlaya camp/

I would sell to the BORG and your Placement appeal on an ePlaya hub and MnG, get all Threat campers involved in ePlaya & MnG, and turn your fucking music down and get off my lawn!

I don't make the rules. Not too keen to follow 'em neither. But the rules are the rules and they're there for a reason.

Camp THREAT, as far as I understand the founders vision (likely not very well), was never intended to be appealing to the masses in the first place. Appealing appeals or not, Camp THREAT will rise to the occasion of this challenge.

Just as the dying horse of ePlaya forever lurches across the abandoned e-wastes of Black Rock Cyber Desert, Camp THREAT will remain steadfast in it's conviction to provide refuge, cover, and even alibis for all of the the misfits and the weirdos who can't even fit in at fucking burning man.

Camp THREAT will Host the 2024 Eplaya Meet N Greet.

When? Wednesday evening seems to be the tradition. Sure, Why not.

Exact Location TBA, but it will be central BRC, close to Center Camp.

This is Camp THREAT, so don't expect any fancy amenities. Bring snacks if you want em. Bring friends. Bring enemies. Bring a bottle of something good.

Watch your fucking head on the way in.

In a departure from established norms and protocol, the BMORG is not only allowing, but inviting EDM camps and art cars to release their lineups in advance of the event to hopefully drum up ticket sales. I bet those BMORG budgeting meetings are a real hoot this week. Cultural Course Correcting only convenient when paychecks aren’t at stake.

In other news, DPW is reporting that last night on the playa featured a display of the Northern Fucking Lights, allowing multiple bucket list items to be checked off at once.

But what I really came here to say, is that on Wednesday night, after dark, for a while anyways, I will be holding it down in the bar at Camp THREAT. Hoping and wishing to maybe finally meet some of you internet weirdos.
