That is so sad.
Just think of all the inhumane treatment.
All those ducks used in making duck tape.
It drives me quackers when I pull a length off of a roll and hear the
torcherous wailing sounds of all those waylaid waterfoul screaming in my hands.
I say we form a faction and press for the removal
of all duck products from duck tape.
How dare they???
Just think of those poor mistreated cuddly ducks.
I wonder what they do with the feathers?
~~~bzzzzz!?!
What the hell was that I just drank...that didn`t taste like PBR.
I uh....
Yep. Fall fell in a big way here too.
I`m up on the roof with a leaf blower tomorrow.
Then comes the yard.
Serious poundage.
Accelerant and matches sounds mighty nice.
yeah....a chicken wire form filled with leaves and soaked in lighter fluid
with a few black powder filled tennis balls placed in the center for entertainment purposes!!!
unfortunately in my neighborhood I would get so busted.
how many times do I have to remind you, keep the door to the worm hole closed when it is not being used!robotland wrote:Boy, you should see the pile of leaves up against the trash fence! I think it followed me here from Michigan....we're sternum-deep in 'em there!
*his robotic shell sloughs away, revealing a green-kilted man with a large "K" spraypainted on his chest*
Whew! Molting's a bitch...try shedding a tight aluminum suit!
*a warm PBR is held aloft*
Drink, my comrades! To the crew of The Fitz, gone these thirty years tonight to Superior's bottom!
*barely audible Gordon Lightfoot in background, followed by bagpipes*
Robotland's Alter Ego
*KampKalamazoo can barely lift the can to his lips before an alarming crack appears in his forehead...Accompanied by a ghastly tearing sound the skin splits asunder and the glint of newly-polished aluminum shines from beneath the green-painted skin*
Whoa.
*robotland reemerges, his silvery integuement radiant in the rays of the virtual sunrise over the SynthaPlaya*
I'm back..... What shall we build today?
Whoa.
Good show robotland!
I was a little worried there for a sec.
I think we should build a huge robot in honor of your speedy recovery.
Something in a platinum finish might be nice.
oooooh , just had a thought...It was really cool this year to be able to spin the Man.... wouldn`t it be great if the Man paced back and forth
using kinetic energy provided by participants hoisting a large
weight or turning a crank or loading weights or treadmill...etc?
Mobile Man......
a little bacon sounds good about now.
Think I`ll throw another log on the fire.
The Fitz....I still have a scrap book filled with clippings about the loss and subsequent search...(a PBR from the Playa is raised high followed by a deep, deep drink)..."Here's to the crew of the Edmund Fitzgerald!"kampkalamazoo wrote:
no, really, I still have PBR from the Playa left! (still encrusted with playa, the reason no one else would take it)
Not many people know that "Michigan" is an old Indian word meaning "Wrinkled Spacetime Continuum"...theCryptofishist wrote:robotland wrote:Nah, that's just a wrinkle in the spacetime continuum.theCryptofishist wrote: My God. Everyone really IS from Michigan.
Well, that explains why there are parts of Michigan where it seems like it's about 1950....They try to convince schoolkids that the glaciers made those wrinkles.dragonfly Jafe wrote:theCryptofishist wrote:Not many people know that "Michigan" is an old Indian word meaning "Wrinkled Spacetime Continuum"...robotland wrote:Nah, that's just a wrinkle in the spacetime continuum.
