Bet on Bush??

Post by can't sit still » Sat Oct 22, 2005 11:53 pm

It's pretty quiet in here so I thought I'd look for something interesting.
Diane o thirst made a wish for goblins to take Bush away.
We have a goblin candidate.

This is from strange cosmos. It doesn't really say much for the people who run this country.

OUR CONGRESS

36 have been accused of spousal abuse

7 have been arrested for fraud

19 have been accused of writing bad checks

117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses

3 have done time for assault

71, repeat 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

14 have been arrested on drug-related charges

8 have been arrested for shoplifting

21 currently are defendants in law! suits. and

84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year

Think off it. 20% of our leaders have bankrupted businesses. What does that imply for us when they are responsible for printing money?

6% have recent DUI. This is either severe power trip or severe stupidity.
Argentina is looking better all the time.

Bush was touch-and-go to begin with and I seriously think he's gone off the deep end. What else can explain his ignoring the rest of the country in favour of pandering to the Theocratic Right?

I give Bush a vote of No Confidence.

I said it before, and I say it again: Bush is not a leader, he's at best a manipulator. And he hasn't the first hint of the least scrap of wisdom. Cunning, perhaps — but not wisdom.

His alleged mood swings (I only say "alleged" because I'm not direct witness to them) are making the wolf in my heart prick up her ears and stare. Instability is a sign of weakness: we all know what wolves do when they spot that...

Bush is not a leader, he's at best a manipulator.
And not even a good one at that. His insistence that Iraq is the fulcrum of terrorism in the middle-east shows just how fucking blind to the facts/truth he is. Not to mention his susceptibility to the whisperings of his own version of the Palace Guards. He'll be the last to smell the political blood that Congrees is whiffing. Just like he's oblivious to the smell of the 1000+ women and men that lie in their grave because of his lies.

No... Iraq was the fulcrum of their leader insulting his daddy so we get even, and making sure we have a permanent supply of oil under our control, no matter how many of our kids get killed for it.

Oops... maybe no one is supposed to know that.

After all, we must honor the sacrifices of those kids already killed by sacrificing more lives to the American oil colony of Iraq plan. We must honor them by killing as many more as we can...

Oops... slipped out again...

Because the only important thing is to make sure we don't lose control of that vast cheap oil supply, no matter how many kids are killed and how badly we snow the American people by using catch phrases like 9-11 and War on Terror, because our profits and famly fortunes depend on...

Oops again... keeps slipping out...

And we better do everything to make sure we win the next election, no matter how the people really vote, because we need to keep power until our oil oligarchy is firmly in place...

Darn. Better shut up. Otherwise the truth might just be heard. Can't have that now, can we?

You nailed it, BBSue. Its scary to think how much of this is just that stupid boy's present to his dad who at least was smart enough to stay out of Bagdad. Stupidity can be worse than evil (read Barbara Tuchman's "March of Folly").

I'm starting to wonder if it's really about oil, down to the brass tacks.

I know it's dogma to say "Blood for oil" but bear with me...

The recent spending and appropriations bill carries two items in it that should have most of us reaching for the torches and pitchforks. One: The Broken Promise. Congress withdrawing the money to NYC that was supposed to treat workers, survivors and emergency personnel that were exposed to the environmental hazards and toxins released by the fall of the Towers on 9/11. And second, the proposed budget cut to cancer research. I won't go into Cheney's midnight deal-making to stamp out the bill to abolish torture, which passed the Senate 90-9.

The Broken Promise and the spending cuts to cancer research leads me to believe that not just the kids in our Armed Forces, but the American people — folks back home — are being sacrificed to the Iraq war, and we know that's where the money's going to be siphoned into. If anything, cancer research needs MORE money, not less. And a promise is a promise.

Wow, look, I made a pointed statement! The effrontery! The temerity! Shall I apologize now?

Tell you what — I'll vote for Bush in the next election. Oh wait, he's not going to be in there. TSOL, I guess.

well, if a Republicans win in '06 and '08... the loyal opposition has NO ONE TO BLAME BUT THEMSELVES.

I mean, have you listened to a John Kerry statement... the man personifies an over the counter sleep aid.

John Edwards... the Robin of the Democratic Batman/Robin team.

Joe Biden... a master of the sleazy appearance

and... Ted Kennedy... he's elevated himself to "joke punchline."

Three Jews walk into a bar.... ugh.... Ted Kennedy! (laughter ensues)

and then there is "do as i say, not at i do Hillary." enough said there.

me personally, i look forward to a McCain/Guiliani ticket in '08. (hawkish moderation)

but, hey that is just my opinion.

I've always believed that one votes for the most qualified candidate, not the political party. (Oops - had to edit that, sorry!!)

McCain? Yeah, he could do the job. So could Nader. So could Dean. Notice they're all different philosophies - but any of them would be better than what we had a choice of...

I just wonder, with all the damage BushCo has done to the Republican Party if even someone like McCain could fix it.

A principle of government is to pretend to be the opponent. They can control the questions asked that way. This site is almost certainly the government. You should go on to it annonymously on a public computer.
www.inplanesite.com. If you get the video you should get it under a name other than your own and sent general delivery. Even then, if they want to know who you are they will. Horrible to say , if you you look into this sort of thing your phone and your computer will be tapped.
