Happy to be here...

Post by infinitek » Sun Sep 14, 2003 2:42 pm

I would like to thank each and every one of you for the vibes you send my way...not only during Burningman but year-round. I feel the love in being apart of a community with such kind hearted warm, loving, souls who share the same pleasures as I. Please feel free to contact me and get to know me cause I'm always interested in new friends who also happen to be burners.

Keep the positive vibes flowing my way.

Peace & Love

Don't worry...I understand..

Post by infinitek » Sun Sep 14, 2003 7:54 pm

Ok, Ok..I understand. I must go through some sort of e-playa web-based initiation, torture, abuse or whatever you want to call it. It's flattering that I'm getting the attention. WOO HOO.

Thunderdome

Post by infinitek » Sun Sep 14, 2003 7:57 pm

I didn't get a chance to attend anything at the Thunderdome in 2002 but in 2000 I totally enjoyed it. I stayed mainly with the UnVillage if you are familiar. I was so bummed when I realized I couldn't afford to attend this year but it has made me that much more excited to attend in 04'. It's expensive driving from Texas. It helps to travel with others and caravan if possible.

Yup.

Change word order a bit and we have a variation on PLUR, namely, PLUG.

Catchy.

Alot of people had a really weird year out there this year - and some big changes to the eplaya community as well.

There's a fair amount of grumpy in the air.

It's all good....

Post by infinitek » Sun Sep 14, 2003 8:16 pm

No matter how bad of a time I've had a burningman, and i've got stories, it still was, overall, an absolute fabulous time. I do understand things were a little different this year. Look for the good even in the worst of times. There wereha lot of accidents. There were a lot of people. I've heard some pretty nasty stories but still everyone seems to be excited to go back next year. Am I wrong? If venting your pent-up hostility on e-playa is what does it for you then I welcome it. I've gotta keep the circle of love going somehow! :-) HA

I'm still happy to be here.

PLUR, PLUG, or whatever.

I'd take a week at BM loaded with dust storms and problems any time over 51 weeks back in camp reality. Through adversity I've learned my best BM lessons, and made my best friends.....like Flux for example who came through for me this year. (and to whom I'm still grateful)

This year was negative but there's no question I'll be back. Heck I'm even trying to become a regional coordinator now. Larry's dream is alive for me and stronger than ever!

Is there more to this story than I know about? Vaporizing Dwarves? AGAIN? When did you do it the first time? How was it? Got pics? :-)

Hey, I might run in the next California recall (Oct 2004) so I don't want any incriminating pics of me floating around. Unless it nets me votes.

You can have some pretty incriminating pics and still run for CA Recall election.

Have you considered applying to work in their San Francisco retail store? (Or, for all I know, even the Internet shopping warehouse staff gets employee discounts.)

Tom,

I've convinced myself that your overall experience would have been better, at least in part, if you had joined us at the Meet and Greet. I hope you can make it to SF Decompression to encounter some of the eplaya herd in person. . . and bring your fuzzy hood too!
