You sure that's not one of those portable urinal set-ups they use for huge events? Drains to one side into either the local sewer droplet or a "bladder" gig that can be pumped or swapped out, with a burlap screened off area. (Had to set those up - really disgusting to tear back down afterwards - for a few concerts, which made me lose my appetite for volunteering for set up crews!!)
I was wondering what those guys were doing milling around back there... >giggles<

As per request... Here is a pick of the pool table I'll set up in the bar.

Last year I dropped it off at Swinger's Lounge for the week. It was used and abused a lot! It seemed to be well liked by all. It's a 30ish year old wooden table. I pulled it out of my grandparents basement and rebuilt it last year. I will likely re-felt it again this year (I think a few drinks got spilt).
Every good bar needs a pool table or three!

One of our esteemed Mayor's has created a new thread for Eplaya Bar Camp not sure why but go ahead and thank the fishy one for this generous and unselfish action on her part.
This is Doacracy in action and she should receive great accolades and reward's for this momentous action!

Now who starts the Eplaya bar camp myspace thread? Think I will do a Yahoo page we really need one...

I swore I was not going to get into the camp politics and I won't...
However... (Stealing the Fishie's Mace of Authority to beat people over the head for just a second...)
GET THE DAMN QUESTIONAIRE DONE!!! It's all of a 3 hour project. All the hard work is done. Grrrr.....
Fishie is right. you BETTER listen to Ms. Mayor, otherwise you're not gonna have a theme camp to have.
Unless you want to let this historic opportunity float into oblivion, that thing has to be in AHEAD of deadline to square up problems.
Now returning the slightly warmed and boodied mace of authority (damn heavy one, too!!) to it's rightful owner...

You can do as much as you like on the questionaire, sput. I had only pencilled you in for the mapping because you volenteered for that.

First day of Playa Calander (will become What/Where/When)
Mozy, read these and figure out what you can easily do. If we get the easy stuff finished and the hard stuff started (I invited you to a private tribe for secret mayoral discussions) then I think we are in good shape to finish in the 7 weeks or so we have. I haven't had the time to check my printout and think of tentative assignements.
Anyone who wants to help on this, sing out. Perhaps a June 15 or 20 deadline so the mayors have time to go over and work out any kinks.

Where are you coming from (I'm still looking for a ride) That shouldn't be hard, we should get somebody up early to set up. It's a matter of designating whom and getting his/her name to the gate.

They would, but they are also going to only stay for a few days (leave pre-burn, and I'd like to see off Scott's ashes) and they won't be in early so I can help set up camp.

I'm coming in from Eugene. What vehicle I'm taking is still sorta up in the air (I'm thinking of renting or buying a van, but in the past, my group of burner friends has gone in on a uhual or similar type rental), but right now I'm thinking I'll leave friday night, camp part way down, and arrive on Saturday morning.
I heard that BLM was a little shocked at how many people were on the playa pre-event last year and that there will be tighter control this year. Who knows.
