cell phones on the playa

part of the beauty of being at BRC is basically being on the moon. cell phones are great for emergencies but on the playa come on bmorg. what's next? starbucks?

That was brilliant, it almost ruined my day. I decided to sell my ticket, and came here to post my objection. You just reminded me why I love going to BRC.
Now I have to go pick up bits of a shattered cell-phone I threw against a wall. Thank God for SIM cards.

What cracks me up is everyone running to be the first to point out the joke!
That guy obviously took the time to put together a brilliant website could of let it run awhile at least a day for the newbies.....

And you may all have a suprise coming yet this year on the Playa
last year there was VoIp this year there just might really be cell service but you didn't hear it from me...

She's nothing to worry about. Just send her some goat pix and she'll be distracted for hours...or at least long enough for a clean get away. Besides if she was gonna shoot at anyone surely I'd be higher up on the list than you. And I'm still here....
